Jeez, had to do a double take just to make sure that score was right. Wasn't it like a 5-6 point game at halftime? Well done, Ags.

    Now BTHO mizzou!

  2. #27
We'll probably end up splitting with them like we always do.

This team's lack of consistent offensive production and a true go to scorer will eventually catch up to them, but their defense will keep them in most games. Turgeon has really done a great job so far.
he has done a Great job. this team is #13/14 in the country...pretty impressive when you consider they don't have a lot of dependable offense and there are over 340 Division 1 teams. far more impressive than the football team. i hope fans are going to games and understand this.

He thinks it's still early last year and they're ranked #1. Remind us, CBF, how quickly did the mighty horns hoops program fall from top ranked to unranked? Record time, if I recall correctly.

GREAT win against Mizzou. Khris Middleton's turning into a player...

  7. #32
that was huge. went from mizzou taking it to A&M taking it back, rinse and repeat. Middleton was fantastic; the steal in OT won the game.

That was a fantastic play--mizzou had it won if they keep possession after that rebound, imho

Ags are good but not a top 10 team good. I hate to even say it but I watched both games against Arkansas and Texas is better. A lot better. But that is just was I observed. Them being such heated rivals a lot of the time talent has to do in the games they play each other. It's emotion and all that a lot of the times.

I'm not sold on A&M being a top 10 team, either. But they are pretty good; already beat 3 top 20 teams, gave ou their first home loss and whacked osu. They aren't flashy but get the job done ala San Antonio. I think they are top 15 & should make it a game in Austin.

I'm trying to decide if I should go to the game against t.u. Wednesday.

...btw, would it kill you to post like a non-moron, Brutalis?

also, comparing A&M & t.u. via Arkansas probably isn't a good idea. college football is one thing (still difficult) and basketball is even tougher.

I agree, I wouldn't say A&M is a top 10 team in the country but with their style of play, they can keep it close with anyone. This team is very athletic, rebounds well and plays great defense. I wouldn't say Texas is a top 10 team either though. It should be a good game but I could see the home team winning each game in this series.

Would it kill you not to be a puppet? Shut the up for a change.

    Anyways.

OU isn't a team to brag about beating, even the Hogs took them out.

i'm a because you are incapable of posting with clarity? makes no sense. and, i was not bragging about simply beating ou...but embarrassing them at their place; their first home loss.

  18. #43
it wasn't their first loss. i saw a stat that said it would be...thats twice now. my bad...

pfft, the fact that it wasn't their first home loss does not detract from my other points. so...

What point? Beating OU is not impressive. Doesn't matter if it was their first home loss or 10th in a row. That's the point.

The Ags certainly don't have the top level, NBA caliber talent that you think of when you think of what a top 10 team should look like. That being said I don't think you can say the Ags are completely undeserving of that ranking given their record and presence of some quality wins against ranked opponents.

I'm guessing the Ags split with Texas, lose to Kansas and drop 2 others along the way to finish 12-4 in the Big 12. That's probably good enough to keep them in the 10-15 range.

simple. ou isn't great or anything, but A&M beat them at home, badly (worst home loss of the year)...and any conference road win in the big 12 is a good win.

  24. #49
...well, I'm going to the game, hope it doesn't jinx us. btw, i looked up the last time A&M won in Austin...2001/2002, damn. ironically, both away teams won that year.
