The team able to make some stops will win the series. Since the Spurs offense is better balanced, it will be more difficult to contain. Another factor is that the Spurs have the right players to contain the Lakers best offensive players, while the Lakers don't have that.

SAS can't contain the Lakers frontcourt over a 7 game series. They can only hope they have "off" nights.

Oh snap, I forgot ya'll have Euroleague MVP Tiago Splitter. We're ed

if they play, Spurs will win or die with the 3 ball, defend hard against the entry passes and the 3 point line, trying to force LA to shoot the mid range jumpers.

either that or Splitter will dominate.

Perimeter play only wins it in NCAA tourney. A dominant frontcourt wins it in the NBA...unless of course Michael Jordan is on your team

So currently the Lakers have a dominant back court.

    Got it.

    1) you don't know what a frontcourt consists of

    2) my exwife's stupidity has nothing to do with my basketball intelligence

I don't know where you counted 6, but I just confirmed that you are 2 kinds of stupid.

The Spurs can use Jefferson or Blair for Odom. Duncan has always guarded Gasol.

For Bynum the Spurs have Dice and Splitter. Remember that Dice's bigger than listed, Splitter is good defensively so far.

The red rocket probably won't see a lot of playtime, or will rotate on defense to guard Artest, while Jefferson guards Odom.

Three of your options invoke "hope" to get there. How is hoping the same as attacking?
Well I'm sorry dumbass, but that's what it's gonna take to beat LA. Do you think the Spurs are good enough to beat LA when Kobe is distributing, Andrew Bynum is dominating, and Artest isn't being a dumbass? no. If you think you can, you're ing re ed.

However, those things have just a good a chance of happening as not happening, so therefore it's not a troll post since I'm saying the Spurs have atleast a 50% shot. All I'm saying is that the Spurs need to do a few things and then get a little help by hoping LA plays out of their game a little bit. Don't like it, go cry me a river. They're the defending champs for a reason.

How should we attack them? Easy, aim for Bynum's and Gasol's knees and we have an easy victory

If the Spurs were to meet the Lakers in the WCF right NOW???

Obviously they should change nothing, since under the status quo they wouldn't have to. Attack the Lakers like they are doing to every team.

They attack the Lakers like they did last game, let Parker loose, eventually he'll open it up for guys like Gary Neal, G Hill, Manu who will also create for guys like McDyess, Bonner,.....on D, they just have to Limit Kobe, make shots hard for him, and play tough on everyone else, 3 Pts will be the difference, because they take so many. The Lakers will know that is their game plan, so they will try to close out, but the spurs can counter by up faking and driving to the hoop, which will also open up for guys like Tim Duncan...Richard Jefferson, James Anderson....well you get it.... If everyone is rolling for the lakers come Playoff time, we are looking at a game 7, hopefully in San Antonio, which could be the deciding factor, you know how Manu gets fueled by his SA fans, pure passion!!!!!
