Of course, any older player is always susceptible to that moment when it goes the other way. But, you don't preemptively replace Fish until he actually fails to win a le.
And your bench is different, and as such untested.
Farmar could be nice on a team that could need his skills. Sadly his skill set didn't fit LA even if he was a straight hometown guy. It would've been nice if he fit in the offense and defense like he fit with the community.

Would you do a Farmar for Blake right now?
No, because Farmar did a lot of ups and I didn't see it changing because he wasn't a fit really. Blake fits but the problem with him is he's ing scared to shoot
Everybody wishes injury to the opponent. Most won't admit it, but, they do. It's human nature.
I do it. Not for HCA, just for advantage.
No argument there. As untested as the 2008 Celtics bench was.
I think when you can bring Odom, Brown, Blake, Walton, and Barnes off the bench
thats one stacked bench imo
Not saying the Spurs bench is bad, cause it's not but I would rank the Lakers bench above SA
Odom and Brown yes. Barnes yes. No to Walton. And Blake will have his chance, and nobody to blame but himself.
Farmar wasn't trigger-shy though. I always appreciated that about him (and Sasha too, to an extent). The bright lights never blinded them.
be glad you ain't stuck with Brian Cardinal and JJ Barea.
Give me Luke anyday
When the season started, I agreed with that. But as the season went on and actually see them play, it's been a lot of Odom and not much more. Brown was on fire early in the season from downtown, but then he cooled off. Barnes was a good role player, but not necessarily solid. IMO, this injury is a problem, because I think he just needed more playing time with that unit. Walton is Walton (meh). Blake has been a severe disappointment so far, IMO, and not just his lack of shooting. His defense has been terrible too. He's just scared out there.
If you watched the last couple of games, two starters are normally out there with the bench. Fish is the only guy that actually gets rest.
Yep, Tyson will be playing against the Lakers. First time Dirk and Tyson will be on the floor together in 11 games.
Why the is Elnono even on this board. Where the were the spurs the last 3 years when the lakers represented the West in the finals. The cores are the same and there will be no difference this year. Also, the lakers record vs the elite was very pedestrian last year, but worked through the playoffs (where it counts). Enough of spur fan BS.
Sure. Stick up for your life partner.
On some level it would bother me, but I wouldn't dwell on those feelings. I'd get over it. As long as he treated her well and had a future, I would feel comfortable with it.
At the same time when I have imagined what it would be like to settle down with someone, I imagine a white girl. So I'm not perfect where this subject is concerned.
What a pussy
The 2nd best PF, Dirk, in the league owning Gasol the lesser player, par the course, the usual, etc.
Mavs should sign Rashad McCants. Really, anybody is better than Barea. Already dreading what he is going to do today.
