Kobe goes near maniacal when he's dipping precipitously beneath the 25 ppg marker.
Kobe and James are at the same level, they usually play the max minutes they can even if their team is up 20 before the fourth quarter even start
All of them really. Out of those four, maybe Kobe the most. But LeBron certainly does as well. Remember that Knicks game where he tried to wrestle the basketball from Ben Wallace to secure his 10th rebound to get the triple double in the final seconds. Then the NBA reviewed and took the rebound away later on. Melo and Durant do but to a lesser extent. They're mostly about scoring as many points possible.
But you forgot one of the biggest stat padder in the game today, Amare Stoudemire. That mother er wants to play the final 4 minutes of a 20 point blowout either way to score more points, going hard against the 12th man on the opposing team.
I think a good question would be, if manu ginobili is a stat padding aswell, would he be averaging more points than kobe bryant or any of these stat s?
Yeah, he'll leave the rebounding to someone else.
How is it stat padding if you're on your way to another tri-peat?
Kobe: 5
Duncan: 4
tee,hee
Especially since you didn't thread the name Kobe.
Never mind. I just saw the Poll.
If Lebron wanted to stat pad, he'd quit taking those ridiculous 3's and postup/drive 95% of the time.
Yeah, see, you actually have to have post moves in order to post up.
Stat padding is normally done by people who have nothing else to gain. Kobe has a good argument against it, with his success, but it's hard to argue 81 points not being stat padding.
The hard core stat padders are usually East coast lottery teams' players. No one watches so you don't realize it.
