Hey fans. Where do you normally catch the game around town? Bars, or restaurants, or wherever.
I would watch it there![]()
I was just joking, but I'm assuming a lot of people watch the games anywhere on the Riverwalk. I haven't lived in San Antonio in about 20 years, so I'm definitely not an expert. They used to have g2gs at certain spots in town including a homemade pizza place. Someone want to help me out here?
buffalo wild wings on dezavala is usually where I watch if it's a big game. Pretty good crowd every time.
at my house in az
I used to love going to that place but it gets really crowded sometimes, especially during the playoffs.
Homemade pizza place? Hmmm.
Why go to chains? Surely there are some local restaurants in SA that have better food.
Because those wings be tasty?
home.... in my spurs boxers and a 24 pack of bud
San Antonio is pretty weak on sports bars tbh. At least on the northside.
speedway's sportsbar on marbach gets crunk during spurs games.. especially the ones later in the week vs. big teams..
but nothing beats when i went to eagle gulch downtown for the spurs vs. pistons finals game where horry hit that clutch 3.. i was only 20 at the time but they let me in and even gave me beer.. $1 a bottle lol.. had the greatest time ever..
Oh yea, Speedway's sportsbar on Marbach gets pretty good on Game Days, especially against the better teams...and during the latter part of the week!![]()
Stonewerks in Lincoln Heights. Not exactly a sports bar atmosphere, but the food i decent and not too pricey. Plus, I like sitting outside (when the weather permits) and drinking a beer when I'm watching the spurs.
i dont like those high dollar places off 1604/stone oak area lol.. im pretty broke so almost everything's high dollar to me :P ... but places like indigo joe's off 1604 and blanco was pretty nice last time i went there..
lol yea man..t hat's my main hang out spot now.. the employee's know me by face now.. i dunno if that's bad or good tho![]()
yeah, that place was expensive. it was like $6.50 for a well whiskey and 7. I think it closed down.
Anybody been to The Ticket on Houston street?
At home, best seat in the house.
When in SA, at my friend's house near TPC.
Most of the time I'm actually at the game. They rock. I get a couple beers and cheer my ass off.![]()
