LOL not sure if you applying that to rap cuz you not a fan ...or the current state of rap. Because of you mean the current state, I agree there are only a small handful of rap artists that I would even CONSIDER actually buying a CD for or downloading via Itunes ... Most current rap and hip-hop sucks donkey balls. Give me the old-school stuff any day...Run-DMC, Ice Cube, NWA, 2-Live Crew, etc...it's miles better than 99% of the that pretends to be rap nowadays. That said, I'm not a huge fan of rap in general...I'm a metal head for life.

So that is why you have such a disdain for modern day rap/hip hop. When you say current hip hop and rap sucks I'm guessing you mean mainstream. The artists you mentioned couldn't hold a candle to the rappers/MC's of today. Run-Dmc?! lol I respect their legacy but be real, they were nursery rhyme MC's. Cube is a legend as well as NWA. 2 Live Crew though?
