Superstar is a term tossed around too much - Kobe/Duncan/Shaq definetely in that select club with multiple les as MVP and definitive first ballot HOF caliber players (multiple MVPs of either finals or the regular season in a year with a championship level squad) the rest of the NBA stars are wannabees at this point with Wade, Pierce, or Garnett with one le each at least having some legit cred. From a rigorous standpoint (TNT used this definition a few years back) James/Dirk/Nash and so many others ain't done (*& yet.

There is a lot of Kobe and Duncan bashing back and forth but together I believe that they would have been an even better duo in their prime together than Shaq/Kobe as Duncan and Kobe were in their prime both unreal defenders and would also have fed off each other offensively.
