    Yeah, they actually had video of it. He was just standing there in the corner nearest the Spurs' bench after shooting a three. He turned and wasn't watching, when a loose ball just comes out of nowhere and hits him in his shooting thumb.

    "Sprained thumb recovery time depends upon the cause of the injury. If it has occurred due to overuse of the thumb, then it normally takes about 2 - 4 weeks for the symptoms to subside. However, if an accident is behind the spraining of the thumb, then the recovery period will vary according to the effects. It takes about 3 - 6 weeks for a first and second degree sprain to subside. A third degree sprain usually requires a surgery and the recuperation may take months."

    Just like any other sprain. But I saw the video of it, and it looks like a jam and not a sprain. I'd be surprised if he wasn't back next game.

    Dude.....he had a pin inserted into his foot. You can never be too careful with injuries of that nature. I am ing glad we're not rushing him back.

    I think we have a player on our hands in Anderson and don't want us to ruin his career just to spell Manu some minutes.
