sons all jokes aside I could easily see Deron going to Dallas. he would fit in far better there then he would in L.A. ... think about it ... in L.A. Deron would be forced to play "sidekick" role due to Kobe constantly chucking up ridiculous and selfish shot attempts. In Dallas Deron would have far more assist opportunities then he would in L.A. and would fit in well with their offense. Ship Kidd out and bring in Deron and the Mavs would for ONCE be a legit threat and their fans would actually have a right to get excited.

The season is far from over. Utah's in a bad stretch. They still have time to get out of it and make a run. A lot of hills and valleys in a season.

In two years LA will not be playing in the triangle and Kobe would be playing sidekick to Deron.

Two years from now both Kobe and Dirk will be well past their prime. However, Lakers would still have Gasol and Bynum while Dallas wouldn't have anyone honestly. Chandler will be gone after this season, Butler is gone, Kidd and Marion are old. Mavs have no one else to build around. D-Will will go with the Lakers before the Mavs.

I agree. Plus, Gasol and Bynum should be there as will so the Lakers would be more attractive to D-Will then the Mavs.

I really don't care, as long as the Lakers keep piling rings

    But your scenario is realistic.

Deron Williams won't be a Laker, everyone knows Stern will snatch the BEST PG for the Lakeshow, & that has to be Paul. The spot-light has kind of shifted from Paul, but he could still very well be the best PG in the league.

" Chris Paul...you are the best PG in the league. YOU..not Chris Paul need to demand a trade and get your ass to the Lake Show"

He just bert stared me. True story .

The best PG for the Lakers is one who will be a snug fit for the triangle. That's not CP3.

When will all this crap end. Media looking for another "LeBron" story they've been pushing for the past 3+ years.

It's been Carmelo all year, they tried this with Parker, now CP3 and Deron. they even started it with Blake Griffin already! Soon they'll be talking about Kyrie Irving jumping ship in free agency before he's even drafted!

NBA needs to start handing out fines to any player or associate who even breathes about impending free agency.

    D-Will to Dallas?

    WE STAAACKEEEDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i'd definitely want him but don't see no chance in reality. Stern ain't allowing dat trigga to join tha mavs. just refuse to approve it and the trade will die, even if the two teams have reached an agreement. Lakers are the only team that Stern wants to see stacked tbh, he ain't allowing him to go elsewhere when he's available in dat market.

^Really, they should get into the Gary Neal Story. Not that one they're using now with the endless "And he's from 'Tiny' Towson State!"...followed closely by laughs, good natured guffaws, hearty feelings, and virtual slaps to the back of Pop. No, that one.

    tee, hee.
