It appears their negotiating terms are Scola plus a first round pick. Oh, and we're trying to give them Splitter but they don't want him. DEVELOPING....

None of the Laker's loses matter, none of the Spurs loses matter. Solely because the two teams are NOT the same teams in the post-season. I admit that some of the Lakers' loses reflect a lethargic performance, which is similar to intentional "coasting" but that is not what they're doing. If you believe that Phil Jackson in sitting there, in his last year, telling his players "Well, go ahead and intentionally lose this one, so that we can all be fresh legged in the PO's" then you are high on angel dust.
Smoke that and represent Rog.

Lakers look alot like the Spurs of last year... alot of hype (McDyess, Jefferson) and not alot of action.
I hope to see the Lakers at some point in the playoffs but I just dont see it happening at this point in time.
They weren't coasting. The team just lost. For crying out loud Kobe had 21 in the first. Does that resemble of someone who is coasting?

This was granted a trap game = Kobe came out to score and Bynum wanted to shut Cousins mouth - Kobe got what he wanted but Bynum never saw the ball and the LAL lost but LAL did try to make a run and played hard but got beat out by the Kings front line with the immortal Dalembert and Cousins raping the LAL front line over and over again with impunity. Moreover the LAL bench kept showing how brutally bad it is once you get past Odom who also failed to show last pm.
Bottom line the more the LAL play this year the worse they look more times than not.
