LOL.....since that is so unique
Been a UT fan all my life. Will be a freshman this fall.
Congrads!
My dad graduated from Texas A&M, and my mom from the University of Michigan. Grew up going to Aggie Bonfire and rooting for the Maize and Blue. It was a running joke in my house that we kids could go to any school in the country, provided it wasn't located in austin or columbus, ohio. Obviously, my Aggie allegiances have only gotten stronger now, since I recently graduated from there and my little brother just started as a freshman there as well (and he plays football lol); but still root like for UM, too (case in point--couldn't change the channel when I saw UM about to beat sparty in east lansing in bball).
Started at UT in 1997 so I'm old enough to remember when all the t-shirt fans wore maroon.
Never attended Utah but I did some work with their golf club back in 2000 and 2001 so I adopted them as my school. I'm now a part time scout for them as well scouting golf and baseball players in the Northern Utah/Southern Idaho area.
Congratulations.
well if you work for them, thats a different story
go team!
Didn't go to Ohio State but root for them in football. I live in Ohio, the older men in my family rooted for the Buckeyes and their games were always on TV so that's where I gravitated. In basketball I root for my alma mater, Kent State.
To me college football and college basketball are different animals when it comes to fanhood. MAC football is an irrelevant cul-de-sac. Even if you go undefeated the best you'll do is a crappy December bowl game in Detroit against a mediocre BCS opponent. Whereas a MAC basketball team at least has a theoretical shot at a National Championship. They get to play on national TV in the NCAA Tournament against top-flight opposition. It's just a much more rewarding experience.
crofl, OP's one of the biggest bull ters on the site
no way this is true, imho
