And i disagree the rest is garbage, Brown and Fish had moments but Walton is ass ...(though when barnes returns he sits) and Blake has been better lately but he look smuch better because he played like a scrub the past 6 weeks ...
Disagree. Not asking for a "core" change just something to spark the team maybe it's a vet that gets cut and wants to chase a ring ...
But something is not right ...unless we spank the Spurs on Thursday I may think different but we just lost our 2 biggest games AT HOME ...

That may well be, Killa, but, we've already turned a portion of this roster over. We're not even sure how Blake and Barnes will perform in the playoffs. To introduce another fresh event seethes of panick. No need to panick. You must permit them to fail before you can call them a failure.
You are wise Cully and appreciate the calm ...like I said I am STILL waiting til after Thursday ...to make my final judgement.
But the thing to remember is that a lockout is looming, and PJ is retiring.
You saw Kobe he still has some bullets left in the holster, it would be silly to waste this season with next season potentially being chaos. Plus Bynum's health is no sure thing. We are NOT building for the future much like the Celts we need to go ALL IN right now ..
They signed a washed up Daddy, West, Jermaine, pretty much every body they can get their hands on ...we have a trade exception use it or sign a cut vet on the cheap ...
BTW congrats Lngrr and Boston Guy dont think there are too many legit Celts fans here ...but props if i forgot you.
Like I said many times Celts are the only team that "Scares" me ...
Gasol will be fine if he gets some rest.Blake is a disappointment though cuz he always plays scared & Brown needs to drive to the basket more. I have no idea why hes allowed to shoot 20 foot contested fadeaways. Cant wait till Barnes comes back. He played much better then Ron Ron through most of the season & Luke will go back to the end of the bench where he belongs haha. I would start him over Ron temporarily just to see how things go since he can actually jump & cut to the basket.
And if that comes to fruition, I'll eat the sandwich along with 28 other teams right next to me.
You can't look ahead. There is nothing there that is going to grant us contentment. We have to live thru this , as we lived thru the good days. This is our test. We must stay the course, Bryant must lead now. We've lost nothing. Absolutely nothing. Bryant knows this. He knew this the moment he went up on that jumpshot and couldn't get it off on the way up, at the summit, or, on the way down. The pass to Artest was his deliverance.
Well Im all for sticking by the team win or lose, but right now people are waltzing in to Staples, banging Jeanie, Vanessa and Khloe, taking a dump at half-court and the Lakers refuse to do anything about it.
grasp is intelorable for a le contender. I have not ed about a loss most of the year ...but losing to Celts bring it out of me ...Cully.
Just like you lament losses to your despised suns.

It's tough. That's why you have to immerse yourself in the good days, saturate yourself, because the bad days will always come sooner or later. That may be happening now, but, we won't know that until at least April. You can't project till then. You want to run the VCR in your mind on Fast Forward to not only get over this, but, to see what April holds. That is kinda what happened to Bryant early in Game 7. He wanted to run the tape at Fast Forward to see the future instead of living it. Fish admonished him and got his mind right. It's what Barkley did in the '93 Finals when he went around Pippen to steal the pass at half court, setting off a dominoe affect that ended with Paxson ending them.
Live this. We lived the salad days without exception.
Gasol quotes
The Celtics' defense in the second half seemed to completely disrupt L.A.'s flow offensively. They degenerated into a one-on-one team and finished with a season-low 10 assists.
"[The offense] wasn't run very well tonight. The ball didn't change sides of the floor as we spoke about during the pregame," Gasol said.
Asked what could be inferred from their staggeringly low assist total, Gasol chose his words carefully.
"It's not a good thing when you finish with 10 assists," he said. "When the assists are 20-plus, it's always a good sign because it tells you that you're sharing the ball, you're finding the open man, and the open man is hitting the shots.
"That didn't happen tonight."
I dunno, it still doesn't feel like the Lakers are trying too hard. This was obviously a more emotional game for the Celtics than the Lakers.
Matt Barnes return should help.
I'm glad we are all talking about this though. It's the right thing.
Agreed. It beats talking about The Skunker.
tee, hee.
I hope Pau watches the game tape & sees how bad he looked.
funny how the game turns out when you DON'T get 25 free throws in the last 20 minutes GIFTED to you...
Was this after Game Two last June?
tee, hee.
He doesn't care, it's regular season.
You got no room, Ln. You skipped out last June.
Crawl, motherf'er!!!
No, Blessings is busy deciding which avatar to change too. So far hes been Matt Barnes and Bynum. I'm guessing he'll change it to Blake.
good game Killa, and even though they've had some bad losses, I certainly think they'll make noise in the playoffs.
