While it would be quite exciting to run into Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan at a resort, the basketball star may have overestimated his impact on a woman in Anguilla over the holidays.
According to the New York Post, Jordan walked into Café Mediterraneo at the CuisinArt Resort and Spa in Anguilla just before a woman at the café fainted. The next day, Jordan reportedly called the front desk and asked if "'the girl who passed out when she saw me was doing OK.'"
The woman may have been impressed by Jordan's presence, but she actually passed out after discussing her son's broken nose with a doctor as he entered the room, MSNBC reports.
"She then got so upset by what the doctor was saying about her son, she literally fainted to the floor," a source told the Post.
Jordan had been vacationing on the island with Derek Jeter and Minka Kelly.
