So Im watching NBA Countdown, and theyre talking about the All Star Reserves being announced. Jon Barry says that Tim Duncan got it as a 'lifetime achievement award', and that he doesnt deserve to be in it because his 'numbers are way down'.
Jalen Rose comes on later and says he thinks Duncan deserves to be in, not bc of the 'lifetime achievement award' but because hes a great player/leader on the best team in the nba. Barry screams out WELL THEY ALREADY HAVE GINOBILI.
As they run through the East, they mention Kevin Garnet. BARRY SAYS:
ABSOLUTELY DESERVES TO BE IN IT, HES THE LEADER OF THE BEST TEAM IN THE EAST.

Jon Barry seemed to hate the Spurs long before Brent even played there. The fact that Brent won two rings with San Antonio must have exponentially increased Jon's obvious disdain for the Spurs.
Barry goes out of his way to bash on the Spurs. It gets annoying but outside of the Spurs, I like his takes in general. He is usually pretty honest and to the point, even if sometimes he is off based.

Yeah, i saw this and Barry looked really dumb. Chris Mullen immediately disagreed, and told him Duncan should be there. Rose agreed slightly later on. Chris Mullen is already better than the majority of NBA analyst on ESPN.
