So this is the second time this season that the Celtics blew a six point lead with under 3 minutes left against the Mavericks.
Great win. This team is really surprising me. Sucks Caron got hurt, this team really could look scary.
Huge win. On the road in Boston and put up 101. Mavs playing really well and it's hard to put your finger on why when you watch them.

Do we need another baller? I think we do. Without Caron we just don't have enough scoring. Were not gonna get what were getting from Barea, Terry and Marion in the playoffs. We've seen it happen again and again. I don't see Mark making a trade with the team playing this well unless its a no brainer though.
Hopefully Roddy can give us something when he comes back later this week, but we can't rely on him.

The Laker hater I am hates the fact Butler is out. Spurs and Mavs should be the top two in the West (in either order) by a good margin right now.

He had his way with KG as well, that give and go was classic Dirk v. KG, that's what Dirk did to him in 2001, that's what he does a decade later. KG is a greater athlete no doubt, but he can't match Dirk's mobility and gets lost quite often trying to cover him on the perimeter.
I am watching the games, but nothing stands out to me for the Mavs. Dirk looks like he is just floating and he gets up a good amount of shots, but they are spread out throughout the game for the most part.
The offense is weird. The ball movement/player movement is usually good, but to me I don't see a constant/consistent game plan or sets.
Defensively, they don't stand out to me when you watch like a Boston or MIA, but they get the job done because they all stay pretty engaged.

well our boys are ranked like around 9th in both O and D, which may explain why they don't stand out on either side..
Anyway, I hope the stellar play deceives us into standing pat... we still need another reliable scorer.
