Sorry for posting from another forum, but this is an interesting read even if it's all bull in the end - definately a curious take on the fight...

    http://www.sherdog.net/forums/f2/wha...lfort-1529775/

I want Vitor to win, from everything he's said in interviews, but even though Silva looked like in his last fights I still think he's going to win this viciously.
It's a striking battle so Silva likely wins but i just hate his ass and can't pick him..

WTF? Was there any reason Silva was wearing that stupid mask besides being a complete ass?

Bader is scared, can't wait for weigh ins. Jones by dazzling, brutally majestic, flamingly spectacular TKO.

Jones not even looking in the eyes of bader and Bader is scared?

So after reading the link I think we've all seen this kinda story before

    Silva --><-- Vitor

    MAIN CARD (Pay-per-view)

    * Champ Anderson Silva vs. Vitor Belfort (for middleweight le)

I wanted not to make predictions for this fight but what the . If I could bet on Coto against Silva I can do it with Belford.
It's known that I hate Silva as much as anybody on the planet of mma.
He is motivated a lot and wants to demolish his opponent again. But again he might not get his flow in the game and get beat up. And I think standing up Vitor got pretty nice chance. Also no matter the talk- Belford can take Silva down and pound him out. He is much more devastating power machine then Sonnen is/was. So I'm choosing a challenger to win this fight and hopefully all the p4p talk will end up with this Silva guy.
Damn how I want him to lose !

    * Forrest Griffin vs. Rich Franklin

Rich is more technician in his stand up. But Forrest is that much bigger - wow. Unbelievable that Franklin weighted in at 203 and looking really good.
Griffin will take a chance on the ground and also will try to hug Rich like they would be the best friends and more.
IMO Rich will find a way to escape from under Forest or will try to submit him. Standing up I think he will outstrike Forest

    * Jake Ellenberger vs. Carlos Eduardo Rocha

    * Ryan Bader vs. Jon Jones

Tough for me to choose a winner here. I know Bones is a huge favorite, but I do not like him that much and Bader is a guy I cheer for.
Jones is jacksons son though and will be prepared and will do his tricks and freaky moves. When he will find his spot he can destroy his opponent like he did to Vera and Matushenko - quick frickin elbows and that's it.
IMO Bader can put Jonny on his back and it might get fun.

    * Antonio Banuelos vs. Miguel Torres

Need to climb back. hopefully he does cause his last fight was not that great IMO

    PRELIMINARY CARD ( e TV)

    * Paul Kelly vs. Donald Cerrone
    * Chad Mendes vs. Michihiro Omigawa

    PRELIMINARY CARD (Untelevised)

    * Gabe Ruediger vs. Paul Taylor
    * Demetrious Johnson vs. Norifumi "Kid" Yamamoto

Risky to bet on this guy in the first battle in the UFC

    * Kyle Kingsbury vs. Ricardo Romero
    * Mike Pierce vs. Kenny Robertson

He is not scared in the cage. But he really is scared he can lose the staredown and that can put some extra pressure.
He talks smack and needs to back it up.

btw. I hate when fighters talk bull and then after the fight they say they wanted to promote the fight or hybe the fight.
WTF? Does that means thay can talk whatever they want and it;s okay cause they hypin the event?

in Cablevision just upped the price for UFC PPV to 55 bucks from 45 bucks. This has gotten so out of hand. I am gonna buy this one but at this point i'll maybe buy 4 or 5 a year now.. UFC better get a TV deal soon or no mediocre card they ever put on will sell at those prices.. In 2007 it cost me 29 bucks for 's sake..

UFC 126-130 are pretty stacked IMO, but not worth 55 each. 126, 129, 130 are the only ones I'd go that far for, which is still saying a lot about the quality of the cards on a back 2 back. UFC 127 will probably be real entertaining tho, but the implications of those fights aren't as big as the others.

I was on Sherdog today trying to gauge what most have to pay and a lot of people pay 55-60 or as much as 65 when the cable company adds the taxes in. UFC is going out of their way to sue people for streaming these days and yet they keep encouraging more and more fans to stream by jacking up the prices. They have seriously increased the % of price in NY by 100% in the last 4 years. Also some of their so so cards are starting to lag in the buy department.. Edgar/Maynard did only 270,000 buys. The UFC is already past the limit on this and with streaming never going away one would assume we should be getting this either cheaper on PPV or more fights on free TV in the future.. I seriously hope the lesser events start getting horrendous buy-rates so the UFC is encouraged to lower the damn price..

there is just no way in im s in out that kinda $$ to see a fight in my own house. never have, neva weel. between this thread and the pbp @ sherdog im good till i catch it on e or youtubes. of course if there are 10 people pitchin in thats a different story.......... so who wants to host fight night !?!?!

  18. #118
I wish i had more friends that were into it. They just are not fans of MMA. Plus my 3 closest friends are engaged or married so they are usually out to dinner on Sat night anyway.. Even if i could drag them to my house for the PPV their wives would make them pay for it later..

I just checked and it said it would be 44.95 but still damn man i feel for ya. And I know I used to get the streams off of atdhe.net but that site got shut down. So I guess Ill be dishing out the money or missing out on the next few PPVs. But tonight I sure as wont be missing out.

Obviously i am a huge fan so is an extra 10 bucks gonna stop me from getting a huge card like this? No. But it discourages me from getting any card i am not fired up about. If the UFC thinks they are gonna raise this to 70 bucks across the board by 2014 and still have a fanbase on PPV they are ing kidding themselves..

Totally forgot about my boy Pierce fighting on the undercard, would've picked him for my predictions instead of Cerrone.

Anyway, 2nd Round TKO...Dana better put him on the main card from now on!
