Could be ugly.
Huge matchup tonight. One of the biggest in years. Never before has a team done what Cleveland can accomplish tonight.
Blazers coincidentally have been wholloped by every one they've played not named the Spurs recently.
Who you got?
Actually, the Cavs have accomplished a 24 game losing streak before; just not in one season. They're looking to tie the record for most consecutive losses that they set over the end of 81-82 and the beginning of 82-83.
i called this a loss a few weeks ago.. cavs by 34
Portland lost by ing 13 in Indiana? , the streak is in trouble.
lol at the idea that the Blazers might lose to this futile Cavs team after curb stomping the Spurs.
this game is just getting good. 32-30 with 8+ to go in the 2nd. I'm going to live blog it the rest of the way so those who can't watch can follow the action
Gibson just picked up his first foul, team 2nd. time out on the floor.
Mills completes the 3-pt play.
Moon throws down a hammer.
Dante Cunningham coming up limp, 20sec TO. Looks like he got elbowed in the head. BLOOD IS FLOWING. ANOTHER TRAIL BLAZER IS BLEEDING ON THE FLOOR.
Blood all over the floor. It has been mopped up, game to resume. Cunningham went to the locker room, most likely for s ches or staples in his face. It looked bad, he may have a cracked eyebone or nosebone.
Jamario "the rising" Moon is on fire, back to back 3s has the Cavs up 40-35! Amazing.
Sam Bowie is rolling over in his grave right now.
This is shaping up to be game of the year, even better than the Spurs/Lakers on Thursday. Andre Miller has just missed 2 FTs and Parker for the Cavs follows up with a brick from 3. 45-40 Cavs, 4:10 to play after Antawn sinks a 9ft jumper.
Well well well, catch your breath fans, this is shaping up to be a doozy. Antawn Jamison has 7 pts on 3-6 shooting. Some guy named Christian Eyenga (a muslim) has 11 points on 5-10 shooting. The Cavs are putting on a clinic, and have taken a two point lead into 1/2 time, 57-55. With so much on the line, it is impossible to predict what will go down in the 2nd half.
Wow, what an outpouring. I know a lot of you are relying on my live blog, but I'm going to have to suspend PMs for now, I am inundated trying to answer you all. But don't worry, live blogging will continue after the break.
Cavaliers will figure out a way to lose this game.
Little bit of trivia: the expansion 1970-71 Cavaliers started their inaugural season with fifteen consecutive losses. Their first win- first win in franchise history- came against the (drumroll)... Portland Trail Blazers.
It's almost like the Cavs are trying to lose.
So which poor smock will be #1 next draft to spend a few years in Cleveland before he is able to leave the town?
