that team was different then....we had Radmonivich and No Ariza plus a weak ass Gasol who was getting his first time taste of the big game...come with some logic other than parroting old talking points...

Yes, I can see how he'll destroy Perkins.
It's amazing how many Lakers fans are wet and primed for a Melo trade without even looking at the effects on the lineup.
It could turn out worse than the financial crunch...
I don't trust your stats but even if I did all it shows is that Theo is more productive than Frankenstein Jr...Frankenstein Jr...is a liability on the court... he's black as a twizzler and ugly as ...give me old man Ratliff over Prime Perk...
based on what....don't give me bill boards and pla udes...holla at me...
Based on the lakers being forced to play Gasol 48 minutes a night at the 5.
false on it's face....there's a back-up Center to relieve Pau for at least 8-10 a game...and depending on line-ups maybe more...you fail come again...
and when playing for les you do what you have to do...Magic played Center when Kareem went down...granted it's not like playing the position constantly but my point is you do what you have to do to ring...
Noob Cake calling it now
Bynum/Artest for Melo/Nene
Gasol v2 will officially kick start the superstar era in the NBA.
Bron/Wade/Bosh
Kobe/Melo/Gasol
soon
Amare/Howard/Paul
When has Bynum ever proved that he could stay healthy for more then 50 games a season? Yea hes a good player when hes healthy but hes never been 100% for any long playoff run yet. We'll see what happens. I would rather wait & grab Dwight in a year or two haha.
why do people think melo wouldnt sign an extension with the lakers? you guys are ALL tripping.
i'd take lamar. denver doesn't have enough burger joints to keep bynum.
They're from ESPN.
Seriously, I can't even believe you're arguing this. You know the last time that Ratliff played in more than 50 games? The 05-06 season with Portland.
You know what he averaged that year?
PPG: 4.9
RPG: 5.1
BPG: 1.6
MPG: 23.7
You know the last time he topped double digits in scoring avg? 2000-01 with Philly.
and if the nuggets send nene to LA i'm firebombing kronke's house.
Picturing Fish playing Center.
Denver taking Artest would be an atrocious, collusion-like move.. , anybody taking Artest, would be stupid..
Bynum is a nice asset, but his injury history is obviously sketchy, and his huge contract makes it even worse..taking him on is a huge risk IMO, I don't know if it's worth it..from Denver's standpoint, I could see them taking on Bynum, since Anthony is leaving anyways, but taking Artest would be pure stupidity..
I don't know how I would feel about a Bynum for Anthony deal, though..quick glance, it looks like it would hurt the Lakers, since it would cripple their D, kill any depth up front, and negate their size/length advantage(which is obviously their main strength), but still, acquiring a top 10 player is obviously very intriguing, especially with Phil Jackson as his coach..
It ain't happening, because that three team trade between the Knicks, Nuggets, & Wolves is ideal for all of them. Especially since Carmelo physically expressed interest in becoming a Knick. Melo needs the spot-light, & in NY he can have it just like he did in Denver, but this time he'd be surrounded by quality players, especially in Stoud.
So if the Lakers move Bynum..Lakers will have Character and Gasol...rofl...
For Spurs this would be a dream come true.
Bynum always has monster games vs. Spurs and Melo always seems to underperform when playing the Spurs.
Um what? 2/3-10 pts 10 rebounds
12/28- 10 pts 7 rebounds
so far not this year.
la times already shot this down. im thinking this was denver leaking this out to have ny up their offer
I called that out last week
I was talking about Shannon Brown. What is it with you and bringing up Kobe all the time!
And stop projecting your fantasies on somebody else.
Other than that, I agree with you. Bynum is a better fit on the Lakers than Melo ever could be.
Fisher is getting old though. Yeah, he does have 5 championships, but at 36, Fish can only carry the Lakers so far.
