Well his eye was bad , but I never saw the ref go look at it , they didn't even test it to see if he could go, looks can be deceiving with something like that

I fully understand that Fedor is not in his prime anymore but i stand bye my take that he was always over-rated. That said i think it is a crying shame we never got to see Fedor fight in the UFC after Pride went under. When Anderson and Page came over as Pride went under, Fedor was still in his prime and would have had great fights in the UFC. But his MGT never wanted to come.. Imagine if Silva or Page never came over? That would have sucked ass...

Wow, Dana White. Seriously, that's some bull . He should come out and say the same about Randy then...Fedor brought more people to MMA than any UFC Champion with the exception of GSP (Brock doesn't count, those fans just watch for the big names).

After the last post fight conference, Fedor still looked and talked like a machine. But this time he showed emotion and sounded like a human - totally depressing, but he's been in so many battles where he was the smaller fighter and its just caught up to him. No doubt, he would have gone out there if the ref hadn't call it off so quickly. Yea, he got beat the up - but he's Fedor and he doesn't deserve to get pulled like that when he made such a valiant effort to escape Silva's mount.

I hope Fedor retires, the next generation is coming in and I think his war is over. He's got the most heart of any fighter ever, never made excuses, and was always humble. He's still the champ to me.

Good post and i agree Fedor is a legend who has done a lot. Dana is way wrong there but that is what he is gonna say. He is all about selling that UFC brand and anyone who is not under that brand just sucks according to Dana.. That is what he does as a promoter..
