I went to my first Spurs game.

That game featured a starting lineup of

    Parker
    Ginobili
    Finley
    Duncan
    Bonner

Thomas, Mason, Gooden, Vaughn, Udoka and Bowen, and Hill were coming off the bench...

How things have changed. Can't wait for the game on the 17th

I know people love to about random losses this season, just think back to what we had on our team less than 2 years ago. Be happy with what we have, we're in the midst of a special season.

It has been a quiet rebuilding effort since 2007. The team has slowly but consistently gotten younger, more athletic and more talented.

Yup...Pop has kept the playoff-tested veteran core in place (Duncan, Parker, Ginobili) and put the right pieces around them...Blair, Neal, RJ, Hill, Dice, Bonner, Splitter, etc, etc...this is a championship team, folks...let's go get what's ours!!!

I didn't think that lineup was that bad at the time, but reading it today made me throw up in my mouth a little.

I went to My First Spurs Game around the same time. One of the most incredible experiences of my life, even with that line-up.
