Manu is unstoppable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We've been to many games in NJ, Philly and even San Antonio... this was the best by FAR... we were right there... the only bummer was that they only let us in 1:30 before the game and we missed TD signing autographs by 10 mins...
old man Manu is young man Manu when he is rested
there are days when i feel like i dont want manu to be in the all star game so he can rest more
Troy Murphy should solve our Bonner woes
hehehehe
lol
Harsh. Glad it was fun overall though. Your seats were great.
That is too cool. What a Valentine's Day date for you and your wife!

Thanks... the wife took pictures all game
I'm glad the game was on NBA TV, so I can record it at 3AM or whatever and actually watch it...
I'll see if I can compile 30 or 40 of the best pictures and post it on flickr or something... I'll try to do it tomorrow and share...
BTW, I finally got Gary Neal to write an autograph in my gray cap, and he did it with a silver marker
I also told Matty that my wife wanted a picture with coach B, and he cracked up but said he had to go...
Don Newman was also funny... he caught me eating coming back after the half, and he was gesturing to pass him a hot dog...
The other noteworthy was a heckler behind the Spurs bench with a TP jersey that read "I LUV U ERIN", and his wife/gf had another that read "MISS U EVA"... they kept showing it to Tony... At the end of the game, the guy pulls up the jersey and he has a signed Kobe Lakers jersey...
ing Lakerfan....
Was he the one that kept changing his jerseys & wave a Nets one?
Yeah, he had a bunch of jerseys on him... he even had some with the black front with the number 9, and the back was white and read Duncan... weird ... I wonder if he knew what was going on in Charlotte...![]()
Saw that on TV, my wife & I were making fun of him all game!![]()

Jeff McDonald
...As Jefferson has learned quickly during his time in San Antonio, however, it isn’t about the numbers, or the record.
“It’s about how we’re playing, and how we will be playing in the playoffs,” said Jefferson, who contributed seven points. “You don’t get to just sit back and enjoy the ride.”
...Not only did Parker scoot the length of the floor, make a layup, draw a foul and swish the free throw. He did it in 4.4 seconds.
“He’s done a great job this season understanding when it’s time to score and when it’s time to distribute,” Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said. “At that point, he went into attack mode.”
Said Parker, who finished with 13 points and seven assists: “I knew I had to push it.”
...“They have the best record in the league for a reason,” Nets coach Avery Johnson said. “They don’t beat themselves. They go about their business, and they’re very methodical in their approach.”
...“I keep waiting for the hammer to fall,” Popovich said. “Somebody gets injured, or we lose five out of seven, or something like that.”
I'm uploading my pics... he's in one of them![]()
Just posted my photos from the game:

Spurs 102 Nets 85 – There’s No I in Spurs
by Scott Sereday
48 Minutes of
The Spurs beat the Nets handily last night by the score of 102-85. The Spurs created off the dribble, got to the line, set up a ton of open looks, dominated the boards and made New Jersey work for every basket. Manu Ginobili led all scorers with 22 points, including 2 treys and 8 free throws. Parker contributed 13 and 7 dimes. Blair did his thing on the boards and Duncan shot well while playing tremendous defense on Lopez and helping out with 3 blocks. Every Spurs player finished with a positive plus minus before garbage time. Just like their season, no one player dominated the headlines, but the Spurs were able to win every quarter and come away victorious. The win brings their record to an astounding 46-9. The amazing part is that, despite the record, there still doesn’t seem to be much buzz about this team.

I think of this everytime the Spurs lodge one win after another. And frankly, I'm amused. This has got to be the quietest run to a 46-9 record and I'm loving it.
Agreed, I love this team and this season.
Yup...46-9 and still pretty much under the radar...amazing...but that's just the way we like it!![]()
A nice article out of NY:
"I don't know how to quantify it," Gregg Popovich said about his side's cohesiveness. "Tim Duncan creates an atmosphere where people feel comfortable, even if they screw up. He's one of the least judgmental people I've ever been around. Demanding, not judgmental."

on ESPN First Take, they were discussing "Will the Spurs reach the NBA Finals?" and one of the guys said (not a regular) that even though the Spurs are 46-9 and Duncan is getting a lot of rest, he sort of alluded to Duncan starting to take it easy and Pop got in his face last night and yelled at him.
I know I'm probably looking more into this then I should because I know Pop yells at his star players like he would the bench, but did anyone see during the game when Pop yelled at Duncan?
Way blown out of proportion. He wasn't really "yelling" at Duncan. Duncan obviously did the wrong thing on defense and Pop wanted to clarify what he was thinking. It lasted a whole 10 seconds.
It was in the first 2 or 3 minutes of the game.
Have you never seen Pop do that before?
Pop does this all the time. I dont see why ESPN is making a big deal out of this
