All bigs travel almost every time they catch the ball. Lopez was moving his pivot foot all over the damn floor last night in New Jersey.
Maybe it's just me but every single time that I have seen a Celtics game I noticed that whenever Perkins has deep position in the post he usually shuffles his feet. Most of the times it is blatantly obvious but almost never gets called, anybody else notice this??

Bynum too ... but Kobe, Manu, Lebron and Parker get away with travelling sometimes too they just are not all slow and clumsy with it ...like the big men.
I think the refs are more willing to give bigs the benefit of the doubt, at least in the post, since they're getting banged around more.
Bigs get away with moving screens far more often than traveling, and that's saying something.
It's just more noticeable with Perkins..he probably has the worst footwork and post offense of any starting big man in the NBA..it's painful to watch him in the post..
I would point out the bulldozer screens he's been getting away with for years before I'd look at travelling.
