No, but the average viewer of the Grammys does, even though they never heard of Arcade Fire until they won a Grammy.
I'm not defending the grammy's...none of us decided that those nominees were worth a ...the so-called music industry has presented this every year for ages...and it claims to be the top award show in music...not MY definition...but this is what we got...

I never said I was supporting it,defending it, believing it,caring for it....it was just a show to DVR in case a great performance breaks out...
Ive liked arcade fire since their funeral days and in no way a hipster. I'm glad they won. Maybe get get some recognition. All they are getting now is hate.

I was actually impressed with Gwyneth Paltrow...she's not bad.
I think one of the criticisms of the Grammys that I agree with is that there are so many albums that come out in any given year that it's impossible that people who vote for the awards listened to everything and then voted.

The Suburbs was just too long and dragged out for me. I liked it, but definitely wont go back to it for anything besides the singles. Too much filler. It's pretty funny that some people think some obscure, unknown band one. They might be the Poster CHild for "indie"
