No it doesn't. They are a tired team who wants to go home, and they will start afresh in a week after the ASB rest.
You're reading far too much into a loss that was always likely.

real bold prediction
will Pop throw in the towel?
The Spurs never remember their hot shooter. They ignore him for the rest of the quarter. Hill can not see anyone when he's on point. He's in Kobe mode.
Going out on a limb to say that a loss is not the way to end the road trip.
This game begs the question do the Spurs need a higher caliber big next to Duncan than the big by committee that they currently have?
Not a good night when Neal is the only Spurs that is scary.
Ballgame. No way we can beat the Bulls in their place when they play like this, especially with this being the 12th road game in the last 13.
No. The Spurs were the ones clawing from behind to comeback. I also didn't say they dominated every aspect, but overall, they dominated more quarters and the Spurs were/are constantly playing from behind against them.
We need to start playing defense now. And rebound please if you don't mind me asking.
Horrendous play from all across the board.
What's wrong with white guys got? Racist .
There's not much to do anyway when Deng shoots like 100% and Brewer hits contested jumpers.
just don't see a way back with this matador defense
Spurs don't even look tired. I'm not sure why you would say that. They do look like a team that doesn't want to win this as much as Chicago. Read into that what you will.
Bulls are shooting 54%, and then are getting 1/3 of the shots they miss back in offensive rebounds.
Will Perdue Jr. has been playing damn good as of late. He gives good minutes. In fact Bogans and Asik were god-awful to begin the season but have picked up their play. It's a shame the all-star break may kill that momentum.
Spurs worst RR record 4-4 was a year they won the championship.
I agree. Neal, OTOH, is showing some balls. I'm confident he's not another RMJ.
The Bulls are basically the Jazz reincarnated. Dominant at home but barely a .500 team on the road.
Just one of those games. Can't win when everything is going in for the Bulls.
If they can get this to below 5-4 with 2 minutes to go (possible but almost impossible if you consider how ty they've played) they got a chance to turn the tide, but that's asking A LOT right now.
