that's what it felt like. doubt anybody would have beaten them tonight.
Also, they have already beaten Dallas, LAL, Boston, Miami and Orlando at home this year. This isn't a bad loss and as much as people are trying to make it out to be, it isn't.
Apparently you don't watch the games DPG because it wasn't just one quarter. It was half of the 2nd in that game a of a 3rd then a fourth where they obviously took the foot off the gas and coasted.
You're just not right. The Bulls played better tonight and the Spurs played better in November and thats about the only thing you can take away from these 2 games.

The all-time worst was 3-4 years ago when Jason Kapono had 11 boards against the Spurs, when he had about 20 career rebounds.
I tell ya when it comes to playing with our heads up our asses, we can do it with the best of them! We don't do extended layoffs very well. We need to play every other night. Otherwise we get the ol' out of sync mentality. When we stink we really stink.
OK FatAss_BigMouth Charles, let the world know that you've said all along that the Spurs were the 2nd best team in Texas and about 10th best team in the NBA and shouldn't even be considered a contender. I'll agree with you if we don't start playing better defense instead of just letting every team and player have their best games of the season when they play us. Yeah we usually win but, come playoff times we better be a much better team than this and a whole of a lot better on defense because right now we don't even know what the word defense means. Tonight was a pathetic performance by our Spurs. This was flat out embarrASSing!. We looked like the Lakers playing the Cavs last night.
Pop was outcoached tonight and our lazyass Spurs were out played badly. No heart and no soul tonight. Not a professional showing. When Blair commits two quick fouls yank his ass out of there right immediately if not sooner! Sheeeeeeeeeeeeshhh, this should not have happened. %**#@^%%$![]()
Spurs will win the
No worries...
Damn Clipper loss. Although them beating LA and Miami doesnt make it feel as bad.
are you kidding me?itwas a fluke loss....just like the cavs beating the lakers...that was a fluke....bulls are good but not that good...bulls will crumble in the play offs...
Why Ibaka for the dunk contest? You want a 7' dunker, DeAndre Jordan should be there.
meh just more drama for the championship DVD![]()
It's pathetic that some Spurs fans take consolation in that the Lakers lost too.
That is no consolation!
the Lakers! I could care less about the Lakers or what they do.
I care about the Spurs, and what they do!
This team had better do some serious soul searching because their record is fools gold.
Defense wins over offense a majority of the time.
I don't see the Spurs getting past the Bulls or the Celtics with their defenses.
The Mavs will present serious problems too.
I hate to say it, but we might have a to make a trade to get that defensive stopper!
agreed. Low lights of this game followed by Pop and his stone cutter quote.
Saying I don't watch the games when my statistics are correct and I clearly brought up the point sight unseen off the top of my head from remembering the games.
Also,at saying not acknowledging my points. When a team gets you down double digits and you constantly find yourself playing from behind (the entire game tonight pretty much) and you need one fluke quarter to win the game, that doesn't mean my point isn't correct.
The Bull have clearly done more in the first two games to give the Spurs worry. It's not all even steven like you are trying to make it out.
Chicago looked pretty good today.
Is TP okay?
Great game played for 48 by the Bulls, can't say enough about their performance. If they get Noah back and stay healthy, they can beat anybody in 7 games. I fear them much more than the Keltics right now, much less the Heat.
you know its a fluke when the centerpiece drops 2 threes on us!
Yup. How many of them on b2bs (I count this as a b2b since it's the last game of the RRTand they played 4 in 5 only a few days earlier)? Orlando loss was a b2b. 8 of them were on the road.
Great ing effort! You rock SPURS!![]()
In the second game, go Suns! Regardless of the Spur-fan hate, I love Steve Nash.
what the Spurs need to fix before the playoffs:
-3pt defense.
-rebounding, 2nd chance scoring is killing these guys badly.
We're gonna win it all!
GO SPURS GO!!!!!
There won't be a major trade before the deadline. Get used to the fact that this is what we're going to war with.
Agreed that our D needs to improve to win the le, and I think it can. You can cliffjump now if you like, but this record is anything but fool's gold and this team has the chemistry, depth and flexibility to go deep in the playoffs (injuries notwithstanding).
Tonight's no-show was a fatigue thing, I'm certain of that. We'll come back stronger than ever after the ASB in the quest for SPAM!

Actually it is. Its 1-1.
Man I really wanted that win... who'd have thought we'd only have 10 losses at this point though... can't complain.
In previous years, many Spurs fans regarded regular-season success with a measure of skepticism. Not the case now it seems.
I love the first half of the season this year, it's been a lot of fun. But I think our record is a bit of a mirage, as we aren't winning a le with our current level of defense and rebounding.
Nice try, guy. Take that GNSF stuff else where. If you want to play dumb and act obtuse, you can have a convo with someone else Fabbs or something.
I'm very surprised so many Spurs fans thought we'd beat the Bulls on the road at the end of the RRT... a testament to hopefulness I guess.
You don't believe that for a second!
And if you do, then more power to you.
I prefer to live in reality. And so far, the reality is that this team doesn't have championship caliber defense, and might not ever attain it because I have yet to see evidence of it against a top defensive team this year.
But I hope you're right.
But it looks like when the Spurs jump off the bridge, I'll be right behind them all the way.
I just hate being compared to the Suns.
