also, Panda Bear > Radiohead
IronMexican, maybe forming opinions of something as a whole as soon as one hears it is a bad idea.
also, Panda Bear > Radiohead
that. I'm going to exaggerate one minute into an album.
Third listen.
I like it so far, but it does sound like a Yorke solo album
What are you using to listen to it, IM? Headphones? Full stereo?
Lol at ESPN highlights of Bulls/Spurs game. "Thom Yorke is to Radiohead what Derrick Rose is to the Bulls."
Shure 840's.
who say dat
Great cans for the money.![]()
I just wanted some closed cans, so got there. Fidsta get some AKG 701/2's some time this, or next month.
AKGs and Radiohead should be sonic bliss.
You should also look into STAX in the future... they're the pinnacle of accurate sound. Expensive, though.
I see most are over a G. Never in my life. I wish.
I'd go no high than 500. I am going to get an amp before AKG's, though, since I hear they don't "rock". It would be great for Folk, though, since they wouldn't need to.
Buccigross, I think.
The upside to them is that they don't use dynamic drivers, so I would imagine there would be far less wear and tear on them. And even aside from that, if you take care of them a pair of headphones will last 10-20 years, perhaps more. Expensive, but a good investment.
Alright. Gonna take a 15 minute break before a 4th listen. I love it. I doubt it would be my AOTY, though.
I really love Lotus Flower on more listens
IronMexican has constructed a listening party on /mu/. That's sweet.
Hah. I haven't.
anyway so far I like In Rainbows a lot better. I have yet to achieve Reckoner or Jigsaw ecstasy.
Greg, did you buy, or were you a semen filled turd and Mediafire it?
Give up Ghost is beautiful
Sons, I can't wait to name my son or daughter Thom once I have a kid.
Thom isn't gonna let you suck his wang whether I gave him $9 or not.
You can't get enough of that wonderful duff.
NPR is about to stream the album for those who haven't listened yet

I haven't pre-ordered the "newspaper" album yet, so I caught a stream and after crying for a minute because the songs I wanted on the album aren't on there - the first song I heard was "Separator" and I was about to wreck my computer out of anger then the song actually kicked in. I cried, it was perfect. Now I'll listen to it in order haha.
