Quite often, we murder the ones we're supposed to love.
I just don't in get it! Avery made it crystal clear that Devin Harris is like a son to him and that he mever wanted to trade him ever....and on top of that he told the media he groomed him into a 17/10 PG. He loves Devin....so why does he keep trying to trade him???
great in father figure

Maybe he intends to coach in Denver someday after the Russian fires him so he can be with his son again.
Because Avery usually talks out of both sides of his mouth.
Furthermore, if AJ thinks he's going to be able to get Carmelo to play some D, he should just resign now. Carmelo and he will eventually butt heads and guess who will ultimately be packing their bags again? Fortunately for AJ, he'll have a short commute back to Bristol, CN.
Just as many fathers want their sons to follow in their footsteps and attend their alma maters, so does AJ want Devin to attend the School of Hard Knocks. Unfortunately, Devin Harris doesn't suck as bad as AJ did so he won't be able to have the formative experience of getting cut several times. So AJ does the next best thing and tries to ship him to ty teams whenever he can. A few more deals and Harris will develop that tough, fiery disposition that made Avery a championship player.
i thought this was a br hornet reference
Manu > Avery
dat doesn't scruple to trade anything even his son for something dat he desperately wants
