Awesome, I like this chick.
I did, I just didn't realize how far-reaching it was. I always thought KW was trolling, or trying to put in effort to make good, knowledgeable posts and failing, but I didn't figure out until recently that he's literally just an attention who wants people to talk about him constantly even if it's to insult him. I guess it always surprises me when I see people who are so desperate to be insulted. It's a little unnerving, to be honest. Besides, I was admittedly a little caught up in the new excitement of a brand new freakin' computer, and he tried to hijack the thread with petty insults, so I felt almost obligated to poke back. Probably a poorer reflection on me than I'd care to admit. You live and learn, and then put KW on ignore.

Awesome, I like this chick.
You don't need to ignore him. If you do, you'll miss his solid gold posts where he attempts to defend himself. Just don't respond.
By defaulting to the tired "my life is too amazing to spend it monitoring a message board" post count argument, she absolutely is claiming to be above it all.
Further, I've never understood the idea that SpursTalk being a repository for childishness and insults leaves one with no option but to join in. Koriwhat being an idiot didn't REQUIRE your girl to chime in. She made a choice to do that.
Yeah, this bull ... this is what I don't do.
Not even for a dollar?
Nope.
Times are tight.
Not for a quarter.
You might have to sell your ruby cuff links before Hugh's bash tight or NBA we're gonna have a lockout here's 70 million for a mediocre center tight?
I hope not the former. Those ruby cuff links are capital-S snazzy.
Wrong. That was in response to someone saying, "Wow it took you FOUR days to respond?" Her statement was merely that she doesn't have time to check SpursTalk every day. If it came off as abrasive, well, it was just continuing the trend that most of this thread had already started.
I can only imagine the trolling that will take place if the lockout happens. Ugh.
Haynesworth tight.
Maybe DMac extension then cutting his ass tight would be a better example.
Ruminate.
At this point we need a kiddie pool, an HD cam, a healthy dose of mud, and my boy blue to officiate a grudge match between these two ladies
Now that I'd buy for a dollar
She was responding to my post. And I wasn't shocked that it took her four days to respond. Rather, I was commenting on the fact she bumped a thread that had been dead for four days and in which there was nothing inviting a response.
Also, her response didn't come off as abrasive. It came off as bull , considering that she had been active on the boards during those four days.
None of which indicated that she was even paying attention to this thread, or realized that it hadn't been bumped. Not everyone is a forum vet, and Perhaps it didn't occur to her to check this thread until then?
lol "dead for four days". I don't know why you're bandying that about like it's some extravagant number, considering the number of threads here that are bumped after weeks or years of lying dormant.
And "lol" at the lengths to which you're going to defend her. I don't doubt that it's entertaining to pick fights with koriwhat, but it's just re ed at this point for you or her or anyone else to pretend that's not what she was doing.
Yes, it's possible to go several days without checking a thread only to go back later and find something worth responding to. But, as I mentioned earlier, her post wasn't a response. It was a completely unprovoked "hey guys, I've been thinking that koriwhat is a doodiehead and we should all ignore him. kthxbye" in a thread that had been dead for several days.
And, yes, it is pretty common around here to randomly bump old threads. But it usually only happens when someone is sharing a particular piece of pertinent information, or when they're trolling for a particular response. Your chick was clearly going for the latter. Which, again, is her prerogative, but I thought the lack of subtlety was worthy of comment.
ing please...
You rolled into this thread simply to reply to this chick after she posted her pics. You've had a hard-on for her ever since she started posting. She didn't start anything with you, did she? No.
Apparently, for whatever reason, you feel threatened by her. Or maybe you just wanna her?
And then she goes and calls you out on your habit of using way too many words to get your point across, which was spot on and rather amusing.
Your holier than thou at ude is tired.
Now, check your dictionary, refer to your thesaurus, and get back at me.
Nevermind... You're above all this, aren't you?![]()
I rolled into this thread after it had already been active for several pages and posted a comment that consisted of a total of four characters. Including punctuation.
Neither.
Nope.
Holy , you're totally right, I'm taking time out of my slow day at work to post on SpursTalk (and getting paid for it). I'm posting in The Club, the NBA forum, and the Civilization thread too. SUCH GREAT LENGTHS AS TYPING.
I'm still LOLing at your definition of dead. A thread that's dead "for several days" in The Geek Zone is very much ing alive. If you haven't noticed, this is the most bumped thread here in weeks or months.Yes, it's possible to go several days without checking a thread only to go back later and find something worth responding to. But, as I mentioned earlier, her post wasn't a response. It was a completely unprovoked "hey guys, I've been thinking that koriwhat is a doodiehead and we should all ignore him. kthxbye" in a thread that had been dead for several days.
So... you think when she posts picks of herself and calls koriwhat out for being a ... that she's going for subtlety? And, yes, it is pretty common around here to randomly bump old threads. good job sweetie, you're learning. Being succinct is underrated, imo
I wasn't suggesting physical exertion or mental exhaustion. Based on your posting history, I don't doubt that you're reasonably intelligent and that multi-tasking with casual attention to SpursTalk is possible. , I'm never posting here without also doing several other things, so I generally assume that the people who post here aren't just staring at the screen and hitting refresh for hours at a time.
By "great lengths" I was referring to the content of your posts, not the fact you took time to comment.
Never suggested otherwise. Was again referring to the content of her post and the intention of her specific thread bump.
No. But based on her immediately defensive response to me, I'm guessing the fact she's an attention isn't what she was trying to draw attention to.
Ha!!! This is so much better than the club!!!![]()
