This thread really shows how people on the NBA Forum are. This forum is a worthless sack of for idiot noobs and trolls to terrorize because literally, they have nothing else to entertain themselves.

And yeah, if my memory is correct some troll did get banned for hating on the deceased. I really wish Kori would step up and make this forum quality instead of a cage of rats. This place makes SpursTalk look trashy as . So much so that it should need a password just to enter it like the Troll section. Maybe not really, but this place needs to be cleaned the out.

It's the same on any forum where moderation takes a more liberal approach. The ratio of conversational posters to just talkers is surpassing 1:5.

I started seeing this in the mid to late 90's with video game forums and even the games themselves. What started off being pretty damn enjoyable became a fest as more and more kids gained access to computers that were once reserved for adults. Now it's an endless flow of tweeners and sock puppets of tweeners multi-accounting their way through their only alternative to facebook or Xbox Live gaming, which is to post the most controversial, acidic or mean-spirited they can imagine and watch the responses. When they get caught and kicked out, they just spoof and return. With the games it was trainer using cheating kids who's entire self worth was predicated on the false image they put forth as a "great player" by using covert trainers and cheats. When those were exposed and became well known, the same minds just decided to on everything. If they cannot be on top, they want the whole place to be nothing to a -fest. Popularity, even for bad reasons, is better than anonymity to many posters.

We all partake in the bull at times, some just make a life out of it. Imagine having 5 or more troll accounts and spending all day and night switching between them just to answer your own posts.

In all honesty, the NBA forum has seen more basketball discussion in the last few weeks, than it has in a long time, at least IMO..it will continue to get better as the playoffs approach IMO, based on recent history..I have made an effort to make numerous NBA threads for discussion, and they have all resulted in high traffic..I've noticed that Stretch and Bump have been discussing more basketball than trolling, yet this isn't recognized by most people, tbh, probably because most people here can't hang with them in an argument..M>S has always discussed basketball, but people know him for his "other" discussions instead, tbh..

The best part about the complaints, is that the "insensitive trolls" that make the NBA side "trashy"(including Harlem), are also in the elite of ST, in regards to basketball knowledge..the complainers are usually lacking in ability to discuss the NBA IMO, not speaking about posters ITT specifically, but based on previous complaints..

The worst posters on the NBA side are the posters that attempt to troll, waste time, and cannot dicuss the NBA at a high level..everybody knows which posters I'm referring to, and they aren't part of the "insensitive" group..most of them are Spurs fans, in all honesty..

Sorry, I mean no disrespect, but the term "elite poster" is really hyperbolic in nature. You guys think you are elite because you have spent so many hours giving each other reach arounds and covering for each other that you've created this micro-environment where you feel above the other people here.

There's nothing elite about posting on a forum. Seriously, everyone here is on the same level and Kori has the keys to the place. It doesn't matter how popular you are with the other posters, you aren't elite. No one in the NBA ever heard of you, for the most part.

I don't think there are quality posters. There are quality posts, and there are people who routinely post those. There isn't any rules or guidelines to follow so these so-called fans have set up camp and are here to stay. You average almost as many posts per day as I do, and I would bet that around 50% of my posts on ST are from game threads/blogs..so you're here just as much, or more, than we are, yet everybody here knows you strictly as a nuissance and a ty poster, in all honesty..

The best part, is that the MAJORITY of your posts on ST, are posts in which you are defending yourself and/or arguing with the same people that you are attempting to put down and criticize..if you think they are all "low-lives" or whatever you would like to call them, what does that make you, for spending so much time arguing with them?..

I absolutely believe there are "elite" posters in every forum..they bring the goods in multiple ways, whether it's entertainment or basketball discussion, it's the same for every forum..it's a majority opinion..your arguments about "there are quality posts, but not quality posters" doesn't make any sense, at all..
