I have an old .gif of DeJuan doing the exact same dunk at least year's rookie game when he was a rookie. It's with more traffic, but he got wayyyy more air and thunder on last night's dunk.
Anyone remember last year's dunk? He threw it off the glass and everything.
The point of the game isn't to win, but to showcase NBA talent and give the players time on the floor in order to bring attention to their respective franchises.
Neither team was worried about winning. Neal was playing like it was a regular season game, setting picks and finding open shooters. He was being blatantly overlooked and bypassed by his teammates though. Funny he still ended up with 20, almost all of them hustle points. Really shows how he can make a difference even when those who's teams are way way out of the race are playing street ball and "look at me" style of play. DeJuan looked like a veteran among kids out there, but then there was no defense and no hustling for rebounds. Sorta like a normal game with some of those guys.
All in all you could tell that Blair and Neal have a focus on the court that keeps them from being able to not set picks and run the screen and roll, even though no one found them on those moves.
Who else on the floor set even one pick besides a Spur player?
