Nice win against the cavs, lakerfan.
Oh, wait...
SA is not expected to win by any means.
3pt chuckers that play slightly better D than PHX Suns of old. Not a recipe for playoff success, but definitely a way to win a lot of regular season games.

Mavs actually went 52-9 before they registered their 10th loss.
ESPN fail
Pretty sure having Popovich as a coach makes a difference.
Doubts? There hasn't been a team with a 6-7 center to win a championship in 40 years....but hey you never know, it could happen.... i guess
They were 46-9 at one point.
The thread was started today at 1:40PM. It says "San Antonio Spurs are currently 46-9".
Put that goalpost over there.
Spurs are #9 in 3-point attempts per game. Being #1 in 3-point shooting makes shooting many of them a good thing, I would think.
Spurs D-Rating (according to basketball-reference.com): 103.6, 7th in the NBA. The Lakers D-Rating in the last two seasons: 103.7 (4th) last year, and 104.6 (6th) the year before. I hardly see a difference.
Just for reference, the Lakers current D-Rating is 105.3 (10th in the league). The Spurs play better defense than anyone in the West, and the numbers back it up.
For the Suns:
I guess I'll just lump you in with the other ignorant fans who looked at the Suns' high PPG allowed during those seasons and concluded that their defense was awful. Their D was merely average, unlike the truly awful defenses of the last few years fielded by the Raptors and Warriors.Code:Season D-Rating Rank 07-08 108.1 16 06-07 106.4 13 05-06 105.8 16 04-05 107.1 17 03-04 105.5 24
