It's dunk contest hate.
Busted !!!!!
who didn't see this coming...
"I'd have won, but someone else took my dunk". What a champ. That's why the Bullets are so good.
actually surprised it wasn't 90
once blake was in and fan vote mcgee had no chance in

Agreed. He basically didn't even jump over the car, just the very front of the bonnet. Still it was impressive, and he will win it.
It was. They just said 68 so it wouldn't look so fixed. There are a lot more smartphones in LA than in DC.
Best part of this year's dunk contest: no Nate Robinson
I'll throw it out there James White!!!
It looks like you corrected his grammar too.
I think Coach B should do a three point round or two just to see how well he stacks up.
Maybe it was 86. They switched the numbers.![]()
15 years ago, slovenian all star dunk contest (at 0:55)
Nice piece on Coach Pop.

Given the chance, Gregg Popovich would've taken his wife out to dinner and some ballroom dancing, which he is quite skilled at, by the way.
Maybe even a wine-tasting tour, another favorite activity of the San Antonio Spurs coach.
But any hope for an extended weekend and much needed R&R went bye-bye with a league-leading 46-10 record that en led Pop to coach the Western Conference squad in tonight's NBA All-Star Game at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
The weekend wasn't a total loss. He's got Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker all competing in some capacity.
Popovich gave a smirk when asked how he plans to coach the world's greatest players.
"You don't. I'm not gonna coach a lick, and I'm gonna have a uva time," said the Merrillville grad. "Just thinking about walking in that locker room is a humbling and awesome experience; just to know you're in the same room with the best players on the planet.
"It almost makes you want to laugh. You have to pinch yourself to know that you're in that room. I think it would be quite forward on my part to try to coach those guys."
And so he'll lean back and basically be an observer from the best seat in the house.
"They can do whatever the they want to do," Pop said. "I'm just gonna enjoy it."
With the retirement of Utah's Jerry Sloan, Popovich is now the longest-tenured NBA coach with four championships and a 782-372 record in this, his 15th season. Many believe a fifth le is within reach, though it will be a battle to the end.

so i was watchin blakes over the car dunk = pathetic
the only thing he jumped over is a fkn car bonnet, the height of the bonnet is probably lower then the 3pt ball rack shooting contest or even the avg waist height of an nba player....now had he jump over the roof of that car then he can claim he jump over a car...
he might as well get a lambo or ferrari lowered to the ground and jumped over it...
should've dunked over the choir or over B Davis head.
Blake had to jump, clear the car, catch the pass, then dunk it. It wasn't "pathetic". But it also wasn't as good as his 360, or two of McGee's dunks.
At least the compe ion was worth watching this year, which it hasn't been for quite a while.
