    If all they wanted was Butler + Roddy, Mavs should have done it asap. A frontline of Dirk/Chandler/Wallace with Marion off the bench splitting time between both forward positions would be enough to cement them as West favorites. I know Cuban loves his boys in blue, but this trade is a no-brainer, considering Carlisle loves playing JJB and Terry more than Roddy.

    Shooting isn't his strong suit, but his career 3 point % is roughly the same as Butler's. Butler's 3 point shooting improved tremendously since he joined the Mavs. More importantly Wallace is a very good rebounder and help defender who would thrive under a coach like Carlisle.

    Plus, the rebounding would be freaking huge for the Mavs. The toughness as well. I think they need a better offensive player, but overall, Wallace would be very nice.
