yes, Clinton signed off on the Repugs and Rubin/Summers financial dereg bill that nullified Glass-Steagal and specifically forbid regulations of derivatives, which just goes to show how thoroughly the VRWC has captured government and the framing of issues.
Clinton has expressed his regrets at being scammed by Rubin.
