The Atlanta Hawks are interested in Washington Wizards veteran point guard Kirk Hinrich, according to league sources, but the Hawks are not willing to give Washington both a young player and a first-round pick for Hinrich, the Wizards’ current asking price.

Hawks will always be the border line that separate the elite teams in the east and the goat in the rest of the conference ......... Hawks are just a first round and out squad.

Other teams should be interested in Hinrich as well. Only one year left on his contract at a reasonable salary. And as a role player in the starting line up or off the bench, he is more than solid. He was a guy the Lakers had targeted before. If they kept Vujacic's contract, they might have had a chance at him.
