TBH EricB almost makes me regret my Ginger Power thread.
Yeah, cause if there's one thing that's true in this world, it's that Tpark knows what I will do.
TBH EricB almost makes me regret my Ginger Power thread.
You mean 12/5... he gets the props tonight because he shot well, and Blair stayed in LA seems like...
did blair play after the 1st quarter? he seemed to have disappeared. there's your lack of rebounding if you're looking for it.
If he wouldn't have done it again we wouldn't have this thread, tbh
Blair played in the 2nd half but the problem is he was OKC's best player during that stretch.
We have this thread because Matt Bonner placed his Ginger Power on the court tonight for all to see and that is the only reason we have this thread.
This was a good game for a soft perimeter-playing big though... the matchup, Jeff Green, plays more on the perimeter than inside. The question is why Blair couldn't make them pay.
I approve of this thread...![]()
It is weird that on a night when the Spurs completely sucked ass on the boards, Bonner did relatively well for himself.
Bonner not only knocked down that huge 3 with 3min and change to go, right before that he cleaned up a busted play for another bucket, while Tim was fouling guys out at the 3 point line.
At some point we came out with microball... I think it was Manu, Hill, Neal, RJ and Blair...
Not surprised we got destroyed on the boards...
Clearly Ginger > Duncan...
Well, I've gotta just give him his props and hope for the best. Like it or not, he's gonna be a key factor in this team's success. Pop and Co. have made that abundantly clear.
So good job Matty. Have that sandwich on me. But if you play like this now and get chased off the line come playoffs, bogging the offense down and eventually crawling up into the fetal position... I'm buying you another sandwich. This time frozen, a foot long, and I'm turning it sideways and shoving it up your pasty Ginger ass.
Way to go Matty.![]()
Bonner was alright tonight but Dice was a ing MAN tonight. The Thunder cause all kinds of weird lineups and Pop does some weird things against this team sometimes which could have affected the rebounding. I am fine with what Bonner offers and I think he should play 20 minutes a game but I was very impressed with Antonio's toughness and rebounding tonight and once the playoffs roll around he is clearly going to be the one finishing the game next to Tim.
Tim made two horrible fouls down the stretch and TP made one as well. Pop was so mad he couldn't even yell at them. Thankfully the last few possessions they locked down.
Agreed. Dice didn't play until the 2nd quarter where we gave up only 16 vs. 37 in the 1st.
Our Defense was very impressive when Duncan/Dice were in the game which is very promising. We also got stops when we needed them. This defense is not as bad as some people are perceiving it to be. This squad seems to be very quick on the perimeter and stays in front of there guy pretty well IMO. We are definitely a little undersized at every position but that's something we are going to have to overcome. Once the playoffs roll around and guys like Duncan and Dice are playing closer to the 40 minute mark it will help our defense and rebounding tremendously.
The Ginger just getting the Spurs the regular season wins he's supposed to get for them.
I bet if Bonner wasn't a funny looking red haired dude, everybody would be all over his schlong, cuz he's been droppin bombs like hiroshima.....
The best part this season...I don't know about everyone else but he's just launching without thinking and he looks so much more confident. And contrary to what we all think of him, he has been a major fourth quarter player for us this year. Heres hoping it continues into the playoffs.
I bet if Bonner was playing for the Miami Heat tonite, they would have beat the Knicks....
