Wish I knew.
gonna need to know who that is, IM, tbh.
Unless her name is, in fact, "n5izoh"...
PUTA madre!
Telling you, Greg. Listen to Turn on the Bright Lights, and listen to nothing else by Interpol. It's one of my favorite albums ever. Undeniable JD influence.
Is "nothing else" a song, or are you suggesting that Greg stop listening to Interpol altogether?
After TOTBL, I didn't like anything else by Interpol.
Geetar sounds like Shadowplay.
The Pixies are the . Interpol has a couple good songs, but after awhile they come off as pretentious nozzles
Superior 90's band is superior.
Hmmm...I'm trying to get into some of the mono/Greg/redzero/IM stuff, but I'm having a tough time.
Is there any kinda, ummm..."crossover" artist that could ease me in, or do I hafta go straight to your lengthy initialed bands from the get-go?
So far, I've only been listening to The xx, Mumford & Sons, and Sleigh Bells regularly...and I'm not even sure they count as "underground"=super awesome anymore.![]()
Where have you been hiding this gem? never seen it before
You should check out Okkervil River. They're one of my favorite bands.
What about Kareem Abdul DPGbar?
You trying to mess with me? Or you don't listen to Shoegaze/Dream-pop?
I'd check out Souvlaki before Loveless, cause that was 2deep4me till about my 7th listen. Souvlaki clicked on it's 2nd playthrough.
messing with you brah. you post that MBV video at least once a week w/o fail
Prob my favorite song on the album, is why. And who's troll is this?
Best 9 minute EP ever.
Gotta agree with Manning. That My Bloody Valentine song was wonderfully 90's-chill. Kinda blue disc of Melancholy & the Infinite Sadness-ish. I've always heard OF Interpol, but not sure if I'd ever actually heard any of their stuff.
tbh, I'm still stuck in 90's Alt rock. My iPod's infested w/ it. And, I'm not ashamed to say (regardless of leemajor's jeering) that Counting Crows is still my favorite band.
I'll hafta give Okkervil River a shot. Any particular song I should start with?
Edit: Lulz. well, regardless of whether or not Nick was ing around, I still liked it.

About his rape victim friend, as you could tell by listening to the lyrics.
Christ. Ummm...can't wait.
BTW, I get way more of a post-punk vibe from Interpol. The kicking drums and catchy guitars make me think so.
august and everything after was a great album...i appreciate any album i can listen to all the way through w/o getting annoyed tbh. even the almighty radiohead has 1 or 2 songs on every album that suck ass.
If "money" wasn't on DSOTM (Floyd) then it would be the best album ever imho
None of you s listen to some Elliott Smith? goes hard.
yes tbh. he's good and depressing
"Black" wasn't bad, tbh. Catchy.
It's no Nickelback's "Never Again", but still. Solid. [/90210]
lulz.
Pretty much this.
