Hopefully Anderson gets Neal's minutes.
Pop needs to use these next 3 games to rest Manu as much as possible, I hate it when he plays Manu too many unnecessary minutes.
SpearsNBAYahoo Marc J. Spears
Spurs forward Tiago Splitter (strained left hamstring ) and guard Gary Neal (mild concussive symptoms) will not play tonight vs. New Jersey.
Hopefully Anderson gets Neal's minutes.

I saw Neal gettin' his "Vince Carter" on the other night.
That bad. Need good game from Hill , Parker, TD, Blair to give Manu rest, and to give minutes to Anderson and Novak
like the 5th time this has been posted.
especially against inferior opponents.
splitter never plays, and yet he's "injured" all the time...
Because he's a pussy.
IMO, Pop won't rest Manu, unless the game is a blow out. Pop still wants HCA.
Anderson has to get minutes now right? To spare Manu....
More likely we see the return of Quinn, or even Novak getting some burn.
Anderson will likely make a cameo though. Hopefully more.
Hill will step up. That's the benefit of having a deep bench. Should be an easy win tonight.
Hopefully. Because he was absolute crap the other night. He couldnt finish at the rim if his life depended on it....
Hill has been pretty bad as of late. But it's a home game, so Hill should be tough enough to step up.
I'm a little upset too. Neal was a revelation against the Thunder when he decided to take over the offense. He was scoring, passing and just plain making happen. Too bad he'll follow up that game with a cheerleader role from the bench.
Yep, I was looking forward to seeing him play tonight. I missed it, what happened to him that caused the concussive symptoms?
I think he got clocked in the head twice by the same OKC guard's elbow in a span of about 10 seconds (It might have been Harden). Once when the OKC player was shooting, and once when Neal tried a layup at the other end. He needed 5 s ches to close the wound.
I wonder what 'symptoms' he's having. Hopefully they checked him and made him stay up all night when it happened; I think if you don't it can sometimes lead to complications (I think I knew a guy with Turret's from sleeping after a concussion).
Get well soon, Neal. The Spurs need you.
he was shooting unconscious when he came back after being s ched up. turned out he was unconscious.
Manu for MVP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
