I'd say the signs don't look too good so far.
I knew you could relate.
My second choice of best film of all times has to be Kingpin
Mouse, I give you credit. Looks like the film may have some potential! You need to get those ers to give you some background on how they became to be holders of signs. Some of these people could be Harvard Grads, or former college athletes with all the potential in the world but they screwed their life on coke, s and other vices. What if you discover the next big thing in one of these characters. What if one of them has a voice for radio?!?! Wouldn't that be something?!?! It's to bad you didn't hit up the rodeo on dollar day and film the Pillsbury dough boy. That guy would've made your movie tbh.
I don't believe either is as good as Sunshine or Slum Dog.
Both, and about 9,000 other movies are better than Sunshine or Slumdog.
The Beach is a decent movie but it doesn't hold a candle to...
The Godfather Part II
North By Northwest
Jaws
Alien
Clockwork Orange
The Empire Strikes Back
Scarface
Pulp Fiction
A Clockwork Orange
Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas
Fight Club
The Big Lebowski
American Graffiti
Sin City
Raiders Of The Lost Ark
Platoon
...I'm starting to get a little bored listing some of the many movies that are better.
Sunshine was terrific until it became a slasher horror movie halfway through, and Slumdog is one of Boyle's worst movies.
Its a good thing Danny Boyle didn't direct 9000 other movies.
I loved it.
yeah Trainspotting was awesome.
Gotta agree on Slumdog being massively overrated; what a stupid fairytale.
Speaking of overrated...

I love Fast Times, Breakfast Club, and Ferris Bueller (EXTREMELY overrated tho), but the 80s were awful in movies. Those 3 and Back to the Future are pretty much all the 80s has to offer and there all about ing high school kids.
the 80s=rebellious hip teenagers and a TON of crappy action movies
You fail ... at life ... and at your assessment movies.
And you watched everyone.
It's easy for people to bad mouth an era after the fact. The 80s had no one to copy from like the 90s and today, The 80s left the 70s behind and created great movies still watched today.
You say it was an era of crappy high school kid movies, this coming from the generation that brought us this ?

Movies like Valley Girl not only created their own style and unique scripts they propelled the careers of some of the most popular actors of today.
What major actor ever came out of High school musical?
If not for the comedy genius of the movie 'Last American Virgin'
you would not have Something about Mary
