He played like 6 minutes and then did not see the court. But, the Mavs made their run and opened up the game during that time, so it's hard to argue.

Dangit. Beaubois about to get his confidence back and he gets pulled. He definitely needs more minutes but Carlisle is getting in his head again on the 'you better not screw up' schtick.
He is just not playing very well. Not doing anything on the court to warrant more time. Very passive and blah.
I mean, 1-7 against the amazing defense of Nick Young/Wiz is not cutting it.
He needs to play a lot to get his confidence up. We need his confidence to be up if we want to go far in the playoffs. You got to let him play through it. Carlisle is too worried about the short term results.
You have to earn minutes. He shouldn't just get free reign to play. Mavs are not some scrub team that has nothing to lose by giving him minutes. They have to play producers. They have to win now.

Without him being a factor, the mavs can't win a championship. They have to develop him. And Dirk was playing like crap early in the game as well. Do you bench him for the rest of the half due to that?
