Never been hurt other than minor sprains but 3 weeks ago I was driving to the basket and felt a pop in the back of my calf. It literaly felt like someone kick me in the calf or a rock was thrown at it. I turned around to see who kick me and not a sole was behind me.

ive heard stories about a pop in the back of the leg and I feared it was my achilies. Lucky for me it was only a torn calf muscle but Im currently on on crutches and wearing a boot. Its been 3 weeks and I still cant put any weight on it. I'm going to be out for a while and it going to be a when I am able to play bc my right side is going to be so damn weak and my left side is going to be so overworked.

Being on crutches and boot in' blows....

Besides the occasional ankle sprain and muscle strain:

-Torn Right ACL in HS from making a quick cut (still wear a brace to this day when I play)
-Last year torn meniscus in left knee on my birthday, had it scoped and was playing again 6 weeks after surgery (always been a fast healer)
-Busted nose twice in the last year from guarding a guy too close and getting an elbow to the face. One was from a JuCo player who was 6'5 and 250 to my 6'1" and 210. Thought it was broken, since it bled for 5 hours non-stop, but everything checked out.

See my post earlier. Sounds like you got a grade 3 strain. You're probably already past the pool of blood at the bottom of your foot stage. With my grade 2 sprain, it was sore for about a month-month 1/2, then the achilles felt weird for a bit after compensating for the calf. After about 2 months, you should be back to hooping with a calf wrap though.

8 s ch cut above my eye from an elbow rebounding. Broken nose from an elbow rebounding. 0294-28402849028409820982094820429 spained ankles and knees. 32482084290842048094280429840928028490248420982409 824092840492824 jammed fingers. 2 hairline fractures in fingers (one that I thought was a bad jam and just kept playing for weeks - oops).

TBH I'm getting old and have probably started to get arthritis because some of my joints hurt for weeks after playing a few months ago. My shoulder especially which is odd since I never remember hurting it badly like my knees and ankles.

get it? cuz manny was young 10 years ago

this one time we were all getting ed up at a pool lounge and I kept calling thispego out for sucking ass at basketball....and he cajoled me into playing 1on1 after we left and I was drunk. As I jumped up to block the out of him, I landed on my right ankle inwards...heard a loud "POP". Turns out I broke my ankle...which is basically a high grade sprain. Still hasn't been the same to this day. Gotta wear a brace whenever I want to ball (which is never, these days).

Pretty confident its a grade 3. It had to have almost been a complete tear. Its still pretty sore but when it first happened the calf was so sensitive that if i touched it or bumped it in anyway it hurt like a . Doctor cant really do anything for me, just says dont put any weight on it and keep using the crutches and boot.

    Can't walk, can't hoop, can't lift
