Or back to the Knicks once they get Howard or Paul.
Its pretty obvious he won't be out of coaching too long. Will he take over right away after the lockout? I think the 2012-2013 season will be his time in South Beach. Spolestra will be the fall guy after the Heat flame out in the playoffs.
Or back to the Knicks once they get Howard or Paul.
They won't be able to afford neither. Amare and Melo make too much. Above 20 million at least.
If the Heat make the finals this year yes, if not, then no.
2 years max
Riley hates Phil and vice versa. There is a better chance of Phil coaching the Kings.
They didn't use cap space to get Melo.
That's true, but by the time Billups contract is done, both Melo and Amare will be making over 20+ million a season. It will be very hard to sign another player to a max contract.
If he were to retire and come back to coach a superstar talented team like Miami, I would lose a little respect for him since he has always coached a team with hall of fame talent ala Shaq, Jordan, Kobe, pippen. I really don't think he would coach a team other than the Lakers if he comes back from his retirement that's supposed to happen after this year.
Remember Phil likes to winso with LeChoke there never.
lol losing to pistons in five games in the finals (with possibly the most talented laker team he had)
lol choking a 3-1 lead to the amare-less phoenix suns
@ LeBrick never won a game in the finals
oh well
But he'd be coaching Dwyane Wade, who not only won the Finals MVP but put on the best performance of any player in NBA Finals history
Just back away slowly.![]()
aint sweet homie
To answer the OP: Never. He likes to actually win les.![]()
if the Mavericks knew how to play defense, they wouldn't have had to foul Wade so much, then cry about fouls afterwards![]()
