At the end of the day that's the biggest question in the NBA. This is a team that's won 46 playoff games the last 3 seasons despite little or no Andrew Bynum. Now he's healthy. They look like utter and complete disinterested pieces of , yet everybody still fears them.

It's easy to see. Spur fan are masquerading as brash homers to disguise their hesitant optimism of this season. They act y, but they still can't hide their guarded fears about a potential matchup with LA.

    Dallas
    San Antonio
    Boston
    Miami
    Chicago
    Orlando
    Oklahoma City

All fine teams, but does anybody see one of them beating LA 4 times?

    Your thoughts would be appreciated.

    Dallas, San Antonio, Chicago, Miami.

Boston and OKC are to be determined after the trades. Before the trade, I don't think OKC could do it, but Boston could. Now, I have no clue. Not enough data.

    http://www.oregonlive.com/blazers/in...nd_camb_1.html

Marcus Camby will return to the Trail Blazers starting lineup and Gerald Wallace will make his debut in a reserve role tonight against Atlanta at the Rose Garden.

Camby, who missed 16 games after undergoing left knee surgery on Jan. 20, will be limited to 20 minutes, coach Nate McMillan said.

"I'm excited. Excited,'' Camby said. "I just want to contribute, no matter how many minutes it is. I just want to be productive and effective.''

Camby said he will not wear a brace or a sleeve over his left knee because of "supers ion.''

Wallace will come off the bench and play both small forward and power forward, McMillan said. Acquired in a Thursday trade with Charlotte, Wallace said he will be nervous.

"There will be first-game jitters,'' Wallace said."You don't want to step on any toes, you don't want to cross any lines, fit in and make the best of the situation.''

After playing 24-minutes against Denver on Friday, Brandon Roy will return to his 15-minute limit, McMillan said. Roy did not suffer any setbacks or swelling with the extended play, but McMillan said the team wants to be cautious in bringing their star back.

    Agree with OP.

Spurs act brazen, but deep down they wonder if their team REALLY has what it takes to defeat a true champion like the Lakers.

Regular season doesn't mean as far as the back-to-back champs are concerned.

Bonus points if you can point to the Spurs being brazen, and extra points if you can define "brazen".

Most of the Lakers have 2 championships except for Bryant and Fisher. LOL of Manu, Duncan or Parker with 10 championships going to be intimidated by the Lakers.

I have no doubt this Spurs team believes they can beat the Lakers. They have the shooting, the depth, the intelligence and most important, the belief. I would bet more money on the Lakers being scared of the Spurs than the Spurs worrying.

As a Spurs fan, I'm actually more worried about the Mavs than the Lakers.

A good barometer of how Laker fans are fearing the Spurs is how many daily threads Laka and Koll post trying to dismiss the Spurs.
