Injured. Calf contusion.
Being in Phoenix, I don't get to watch many Spurs games. What was the reason for Parker's low minutes?
Injured. Calf contusion.
Hurt his calf.... But it looked like his thigh.
Hill was so awesome.
not in the 2nd half...
Oh, he was awesome at some point?
see the game blog
that would require a lot of amino acids. See what I did there?

What is a calf contusion?
The muscle group at the back of the lower leg is commonly called the calf. The calf comprises of 2 major muscles one of which originates from above the knee joint (gastrocnemius) the other of which originates from below the knee joint (soleus). Both of these muscles insert into the heel bone via the Achilles tendon (figure 1).
The calf is responsible for raising the heel during weight bearing activity and has a rich blood supply. Following a direct impact to the calf, damage to the muscle fibres, connective tissue and small blood vessels of the muscle may occur. This results in a 'bruise' to the calf and is known as a calf contusion.
Calf contusions can range from minor contusions resulting in minimal pain and allowing ongoing activity, to severe contusions resulting in significant pain and loss of function.
What's the status on the injury? Is it serious? Will he miss much time?
did not play at all in second half
no one knows tell tomorrow
If it's only a contusion won't be serious. We'll be in trouble if Tony and Neal both miss next game.. Manu won't be able to carry us again without compromising his body.
Ducks, did your nurse find that for you?
fo.
no ducks knows how to find things on the internet
ducks knows computers
So will he be ok? How long will he be out? And when will splitter play? Also neal?
Gotta love it when people are too lazy to read a game recap, and instead need to ask in forum so they can be spoon-fed information.
I needed that!
If he's out for an extended period kiss that 70 win season goodbye.
I don't forsee any way the Spurs go the rest of the season losing fewer than three games.
You don't foresee any possibility of injuries then
Spurs have been relatively healthy until recently![]()
Maybe you're misunderstanding me, but if Parker and Neal come back in the next game, and everyone's healthy the rest of the year, I don't think they're going to be near 70 wins.
Sarcasm? I hope so.
There were no game recaps up when he started the thread, same reason I came here to find out
Any word on the severity of the injury? I can't find anything on the internets.
We have to wait a few hours more until Tony (and I think Dejuan as well) are examined by the medical staff. This always happens the morning after the game, therefore we have to be patient ...
