Nice pick up by Chicago

Korver, Butler... They now have two shooters.
Yep
And Butler can create his own shots
They're both SFs though so Thibs might have a problem with who to go to first. These two are not starting definitely
True
But I think Butler will get some minutes at the SG spot
I want these last second blue chippers away from TexasPERIOD
You, in particular started with Blair, and you're gonna see it to the end.
Since when?
Not a bad pick-up. Wonder where he'll get minutes though. It's not like he's world's better than Korver. Unless they're going to give Brewer's minutes to him.
I wouldn't count on Butler to do anything but play good defense and hit the occasional open shot. He provides a lot more length and athleticism than Bogans and that's a good thing for any team...especially a defensive team. Despite the insane hyping of Blake Griffin the Clippers are still a gutter organization with a loser mentality as far as I'm concerned. A change of scenery to a real team with a good coach may do Butler a lot of good.
Doesn't solve any problems. Chicago needs a creator or a great defender/shooter combo-player at the 2, not a one-dimensional shooter.
I mean compared to Korver
Sure he is no Kobe, but I've seen him manufacture his own shots
anything to get bogans to play less is great for the bulls
You think Chicago needs to be better on defense?![]()
true dat
If shooting at a rate of 32% qualifies a guy as a "shooter", then damn near everyone in the NBA is a "shooter".
You can always stand to be better on defense.
In anyways, I think they need a two-way player at the SG. Brewer can D up, but can't shoot. Korver can shoot, but can't D up. Having a guy who can do both would help them out more than either. Someone like Aaron Afflalo.
A creator at the 2 would be even better, but that ship sailed by with the trade deadline.
