    How about this?

    One more win and the Lakers have to move over and share the record for most consecutive 50 win seasons.
    Spurs would have passed them last year if it wasn't for that f'ing lockout in '99.

    Pop should immediately begin to shorten Duncan's minutes for the rest of the year to about 10 or so to prevent him from moving up on the career blocks list.

    Otherwise, when Timmy moves into the top 10 in blks he will demand a huge pay-raise and a long term contract extension.

    The Spurs went 37-13 that season, which is a .740 winning percentage. If you prorate that over a full 82-game season, you get 60.68 wins. So, the Spurs were on a 60 or 61 win pace in 1999.
