And the Saints came within a hairs breath of being the San Antonio Saints.
They are still the only NFL team to ever play a regular season game in San Antonio, and they played 3 here.
yeah we shall win the nba le again this year
hope springs eternal guys....
we just need a little luck, and two more players!
go Spurs go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Spur fan really is the worst fan on this site.
Riiiiiiiight. Because the Spurs are the only team in the NBA to ever win a le.
No, sorry to say, but the only real genuine class act associated with the Mavs is Nowitski, and I bet secretly he wishes he was with the Spurs.![]()
ok lets see, the final four will be like this after the final five:
1 Spurs
2 Dallas
3 LA
4 OKC
5 NO
OKC defeats NO in six perhaps??
SA over OKC in six also....
Dallas and LA in a dogfight seven?? wow
the winner of Dallas vs La is tired, then gets us Spurs next, no
Spurs in six, Nba finals already.....
gee whiz
so probably:
I wonder why Spurs fans don't shove trophies in the faces of Laker or Celtic fans.... oh wait, I do!
Celtic...
x 17
Lakers...
x 17
Are you guys gonna keep going back and forth and continue hijacking this thread? No one gives a about that right now. Just let this thread get bumped with updates on BREWER.
So give it a rest already.
yeah, Imagine Dirk with us man...
Duncan at center,
Dirk and the Beast at forward, wow!! hahaha
poor Dirk, closest to Larry Legend ever
As far as we are concerned, yes![]()
Can you be a little more specific?
I like how this has turned into a Mavs vs Spurs thread. Why compare the two when there is no comparison? Spurs are in a class on their own. Mavs can't touch them. It has already been said best a few posts back- If Brewer is a Spurs type of guy, he will choose the Spurs- not because we throw money at him or promise him playing time. The question is not "what can the spurs offer?" its "IS BREWER SPURS MATERIAL?"
?
Just from this thread, dumbass spur fan has turned it into a "LOL MAVS HAVE N0 RINGS SO BREWER WONT GO THERE" type of thread.
You wish!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But I'm tired of jawing with you losers.
Go pester someone else.![]()
if you read the posts of various fans, i think we Spurs fans are the most respectful...
that's it
Are the Bulls still so high on Rasual Butler that they won't consider pairing up Brewer with his buddy Noah?
Mavfan is in here arguing with these goofballs tbh.
Seriously though . . . knock the off or I will get DPG in here to bite your kneecaps!
So, if he says yes, then he is. If he says no, then he isn't, right?
right, we hope he makes the right choice
coz i think we are only two role players away
defender plus situational big for insurance (either Pryz or the greek guy or Cousin) and we are set
I stand corrected.
I will no longer respond or feed the trolls.![]()
ESPN insider update:
http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/features/rumors
UPDATE No. 2: According to Alan Hahn of Newsday, Brewer has now officially been bought out.
With Brewer now off the team. the Knicks are "expected to sign Jared Jeffries [Tuesday] once he clears waivers," added Hahn.
Alex Kennedy of HOOPSWORLD tweeted that Brewer has "calls lined up with several coaches [Tuesday], and he'll make a decision shortly after."
Kennedy lists Boston, Dallas, San Antonio, Oklahoma City and Chicago -- a bit of a confliction with Johnson's tweet below -- as teams that "want" Brewer.
and sometimes i think it all boils down to the people around a cager,
the people who give him advice, say the wife or anyone within the family/close friends circle
our front office obviously knows this, so if we can target the people around the cager, the people who matter.....and let them know/convince them about the various "intangibles" for those who are playing for the Spurs, then the cager "might see the Light"......
and decide in our favor....
a big if....
You got it buddy.
Kinda funny reading this from a Mav fan. Must be tough having to borrow credibility from other franchises.
Maybe OKC is the dark horse here....but they have only a back up role to offer as well. I said it before, I think this could come down to something as simple as "The Mavs said I'll start".
