Really though... after the game Sunday and then losing Tony... you know they were going to be out for blood.
This. You just know they're going to go back to playing .500 ball now. It always happens when a team blows their load on one game...

we got any quotes after this pitiful game or what
Pop: "It wasn't just the turnovers, it was the offensive boards along with the lack of focus," Popovich said in his brief postgame appearance before closing with: "It was a disappointing night, and that's not something to be proud of."

Manu on Tony: "He is our leader on the court," Ginobili said of Parker. "He's the one that makes the decisions and calls the plays. He handles the pressure and creates for us, so he's a pretty big part of who we are. If you add that with the fact that George (Hill) didn't have a good game. I didn't have a good game. (Duncan) didn't have a good game. That makes it hard to win."

Manu on Memphis: "They know they have a shot," Ginobili said of Memphis. "They are young and very physical and athletic, and we are not precisely that.

"We have to do better with our brains."

Our man on the scene says Pop's postgame after meltdown in Memphis was a 38-second rip job of this team. #spurs

Manu was our best player for the first month and a bit, but since then and overall I'd say TP's consistency and great play has him as the Spurs MVP.
