Weird how that relationship lasted 2 years even though she cheated on you, in HS...but then again, not really, HS kids are dumb.

She cheated on me towards the end of the relationship, the last few weeks..we were fine for the most part before then..I found out about it a few days after we broke up, although I had su ions..

In my case, I was cheated on twice by the same girl, even though we had an awesome relationship..but it's not worth discussing ALL of the details. She actually hid this fact from me for about 3 months, until she finally came clean and blew my mind because it made no sense. She regretted it pretty hard, ended up dating another guy for a while further down the road, until she started talking to me again and did not like where her relationship was going with that dude. Ended up tapping it while she was still officially dating the guy, but she knew that relationship wasn't going far. And now, whenever we're in the same area/home, it's pretty much guaranteed poon. I cannot complain.

With the once the cheater line...I would agree for most people, but for this particular girl I dated, I honestly don't believe so. She's extremely mature now and has been through a lot of in her life...and she was even really mature back when we dated. Hardcore Christian throughout childhood, her parents were (they are no longer b/cus divorce early in girl's childhood) evangelicals basically. Her parents split because her dad (even though a former pastor) had affair(s), and that has always hurt her..not just growing up through that, but the reasons they split. Also, the same year she cheated on me, one of her best friends was cheated on by her bf and my ex didn't hesitate to throw harsh words and let the dude know what she thought. So, in summary, really ing strange because from past experience has always been against cheating. However, both time were when things were mildly shaky, she grew insecure of how much longer I wanted a part of the relationship, and she was trashed during both times. Hence the 3-month secrecy.

Oh well. I'm having fun now. Cannot be too regretful, because if I ever am cheated on again, I'm much better prepared on dealing with it afterwards.

I admitted it was a ty thing to do. I said I had no excuse. It was my first experience with anything RESEMBLING a relationship, and I made several bad decisions...7 YEARS ago.

And as far as the situation w/ my friend went, he had started talking to her maybe a week before I did. He had mentioned his interest in her, and I had none. We simply kept talking as friends (she and I), and things began to develop. The two of them made it "long-distance official", and everything just kinda spiraled outta control from there...
