Yeah, I know he played like a dog. I could care less what he does against Cleveland. A good performance against a crap team won't make any difference at all. I have no doubt he'll have a better performance though.
He had a bad game. It happens. He'll get right back in it; he's very talented and he wants to win.
Hope he doesn't take it too hard, and just uses it for motivation.

who hates Hill?
Since I'm not a Twitter person, I can do without the apology. I just want him to cut down on his turnovers, defend and play the PG position in a natural fashion.
I wouldn't quite call him mentally weak, but if he keeps having his good games at home, and bad games on the road, I may change my tune.
for Hill feeling he owes it to the fans.
Exactly .. totally agree with you man ..
i didnt see the game neither lol.. it must've been really bad.. but regardless.. it's like some ppl have short term memory here.. hill's still a great player.. im sure he'll bounce back..
Totally.
IMHO I think it would be better if he just let's his play dictate his actions.
Theadvocate in me asks the question,"What happens if he has another bad game?."
Him talking outside the inner circle kind of magnifies the need for him to play much better.
Not saying he can play worse, but ask the LAL how it feels to lose to CLE?
Just play within yourself. You're starting but think like you did when you were coming off the bench.
I can see why Pop deemed him not ready a couple of years ago. Mentally weak.
The home/away thing is the tell.
Another thing on tweets or facebook. Hill should take a lesson from Manu & TP, those guys always talk TEAM. It's never how bad I or how good I...it's always TEAM.
Spot on. And when he attacks the basket and does his thing he tends to set people up naturally. That's what he did filling in for TP last year.
Oh, but don't forget to work some lob plays for RJ too - time he put in some rim rockin.
And Tim! And David. And every Spur who ever had a clue. It's the team's ethic.
Nice call.![]()
i accepted a long time ago the fact that the "away" George Hill is just a middle-of-the-pack NBA player. his ppg, bpg, spg and percentages all go down considerably on the road.
some guys just aren't cut out for playing in a hostile environment. the guy literally pisses himself in away games. good thing we've got Neal.
dude he's been doing this for the last 3 years, i don't know why you're giving him the benefit of the doubt. he's for the most part consistently played horrible on the road ever since he's been here.
that's the scary part. nothing scares me more than relying on Hill to play with balls in an important away playoff game.
I agree with the nazi on this.
Good to see that he cares...he will bounce back and he will improve because of his humility...
I don't think any spur player is stupid enough to wonder in here after a loss.
Hill, just play like you are capable of and this game will be erased from peoples' minds in no time!
Georgie just needs to file this under " happens" and walk away.
Hill beat the Mavs in the playoffs last year. He has nothing to apologize for.
